Stopped here for dinner on the way home from a trip as it was mostly on the way and I’d been meaning to try it. Nice larger patio, so we sat outside. 6 beers available ranging from poor to okay. Ordered some apps and an entree, and the apps were pretty good, but the entree was way under seasoned. Service was okay, seemed more interested in hanging out and chatting than checking on the customers. Overpriced too. Overall, not very impressive, but it’s got a great patio!
I haven’t been to this brew pub for quite some time. I recently had several beers and dinner here on a Saturday night. Food was mediocre at best, beers slightly above average, but limited in scope, and service was abysmal. It will likely be ’quite some time’ until I return.
Brewpub. Nice indoor and outdoor atmosphere. Decent service. Beer was nothing to write home about. Food is above average. Worth a visit if you are nearby, but I wouldn’t go too far out of my way.

This place was good once. Still a great building, location, & outdoor seating in nice weather. It’s the beer though...really not that great anymore & hasn’t been for awhile. The food is average and the value is not especially good. I would really like to see top flight craftbeer people take this place over and start again (might be tough given the off the beaten track location).
I live in Long Valley and avoid that place like the plague. EXTREMELY OVERPRICED! You are now warned. The beer isn’t even that good and they charge $4 at the very least for a pint. The food is eh, you can get the same quality elsewhere, or better for cheaper. Portions are small and the servers are either over attentive or forget your even there. Not naming names but some really scummy people work in the back. The only thing I give to this place is the bartenders are generally very nice and attentive if you rather sit there than the dining areas. Ambiance is not bad...rustic, historic, bi-level. Managers treat their staff like slaves from what I hear so the bad service is a product of their desire to not care. That place could be a lot better than it currently is. See for yourself though, I’m not stopping anyone.
Awesome setting in a restored 3-story stone mill. Open and classic inside, welcoming horseshoe bar on the main floor with aux. bar upstairs, just their own beers on tap. My favorites are the Lazy Jake Porter, an excellent porter, and the ESB. Oatmeal Stout is great too in the wintertime.
Service is subpar the few times i was there, food is overpriced, the beer is german style and very seldom changes

Been to the brew pub more times than I can count. A nice place to grab a burger and a beer. They brew their own and usually have 5-6 beers on tap. All the beers are decent, however they can be hit or miss. The food is also hit or miss, sometimes the fish and chips are great and other times a soggy mess. However the beer is the attraction and I choose the Lazy Jake Porter 9 times out of 10.
UPDATE: I have to lower my review as the food quality has gone down and there is almost no change in beers. They have settled into just making the same beers over and over. Your a brewpub, brew some different beers.
Rustic old stone barn in scenic area of Long Valley. Their beers were all well done but none really stood out for me. I haven’t ever had a bad meal here but the variety of food has gone down a bit. This is one of my favorite places to spend a snowy day...in front of their fireplace watching the snow fall over the hills with a porter in hand.
