Nice, cozy beer bar just off the main shopping street. Bartender (owner?) was friendly and served up some great pub grub. Many Danish micro-brewed beers on draft including at least 7 special Christmas beers.
favourite place in town (may have to battle it out with recently opened mikkeller bar elsewhere in town) but this is where I first got aboard the danish microbrew wagon and they’re still right up there -
nice guys and gals behind the bar and their supplies are usually so small that they always have something brand new on tap
quitting on their 95DKK taster menu is only slip-up imo
Great small place downtown copenhagen with a lot of good danish brews on tap. Nice staff that gives you a nice rest from the shoppingfrenzy outside. Visit also "Barleywine", which is just around the corner.
Small semi-cellar bar made to look like an English Pub. They have fitted three 4 person booths in a very tight space. The owner and barman are both English. All the beers are Danish though, including 2 ciders made by the owner himself.

This one is a bit special. Has a very local feel to it, both times I’ve visited there were some local folks having a good time at the bar. Relaxed atmosphere. 14 taps, always managed to find something interesting on tap. I guess the smoke could be the deal breaker for some, but I liked the place. Worth visiting.
Good service, both small and big glasses, pretty good prices, nobody smoking at the time of my visit.
The tap list could have the beer style listed as well but then again, got some samples when I asked about some of the beers... :)
Visited 17.1.15. Small, basement-like place right in the city center, not far from the Taphouse. Informal atmosphere and good background music. Beer’s good, we managed to taste a bunch of stuff we didn’t spot in other bars in town, despite the small selection. Well worth the visit.

Basement bar in the centre of Copenhagen. These days one of the best places for Danish micros as the there is a constant rotation on the taps. Drawbacks are that smoking is still allowed most of the time, I guess this is to please many of the great locals showing up here as soon as the place opens in the afternoon. Always a warming and welcoming place. They used to do samplers, not sure if they still do. May have UK casks on as well, although the start of this in 2009 didnøt go that well (don’t run the same cask for a month....)
