This place had more taps than any of the other bars that we visited in the city. Seating was a bit more comfortable than most other places that we tried also. Didn’t look at the bottles, the tap list was interesting enough to keep us happy. The best beer that I had here was Asteroid 5603 from Birrifico Italiano. Visited twice on the weekend that we were in the city.
Found this by wandering past it - glad I did. 10 beers on tap, 9 Italian ’birre artasinale’ and one Belgian (Oud Bruin), just to show them how it should be done (I’m joking of course - the Italian beer revolution has produced some fine beer). The bottled beer selection is very impressive (but looks expensive - unless those are ABVs on the shelves...). I had 4 of the Italians at lunchtime - probably go back tonight to have the other five, if I can survive that long.
Great spot for having a beer or buying some to take away. Ok selection on tap, better on bottles.
Next door you’ll find the shop. If it is closed it’s just to ask someone in the bar to open. Very good selection, with Italian, Belgian, Norwegian, Swedish (and so on) brands. Best place in Bologna I visited. By far.
An easy going place simply furnished with a nice bar and 7 taps well assorted .. The guys behind the bar are kind and friendly, this compesates for the less knowledge of some beer that was on in my visit ( not a big deal anyway ) .. Did not try food but they serve bar’s snakes for sure and sandwiches or piadine .. It’s in the university area so the customers are quite youngs( that’s what I noticed in my visit ) good place with an interesting selection and relaxing
I am rating the location situated in the Park Lumière near Parco del Cavaticcio. This Ortica location is opened during the good season and closes at the end of October. A good spot to visit during the weekly Mercati della Terra which occurs on Saturday morning. About 5 drafts of some regional brews, Monkey Beer, Lucky Brews which seem to be the usual breweries on offer.
Friendly service with a good food menu which I didn’t try. Fair prices around 3€ the small glass. Just loved the ambiance, and the market plays a lot there but special events go on all the time and a definite good hangout spot in Bologna.
About 600 meters from the train station. This craftbeer pub has ok selection of beers in 8 taps. Didn’t check the bottles. Service was quite nice. Simple interioir, not anything special. A very popular place among the university students.
About 8 taps of OK-to-decent stuff. Passionate owner who knows his beers. VERY reasonable prices. This place is worth a stop if you have some time to kill or if it’s in your part of Bologna, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit.
