Visited late night on a Wednesday, immediately following a Heat game. Located behind The New Hotel. The layout is a few patio tables as you walk in, the small bar with 6 or so stools in the back, and a couple of tables around the pool. 12 or so beers on draft, 30ish bottles on offer. Selection is well chosen, and all great quality. Very chill music playing, attentive service and a relaxed vibe all around. Had a very Miami feel to it. I enjoyed the projection TV showing the basketball game on the side of hotel / trees.

76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Odd little place. It’s a bunch of tables around a pool in a motel courtyard. There is a small bar as well. The selection is pretty decent for Miami. Lots of mistakes on the beer menu, so it’s a little hard to figure out what they have. Our service was friendly but pretty much terrible to non-existent. I’d recommend it only if you’re in the North Beach area and want a chill place to sit outside and drink beers very slowly.

Cool place with a good selection. Food was really good! Saturdays and sundays they do a food/beer pairing brunch which was pretty good. Friendly staff and they mostly know what they’re talking about.

Lou’s has style, and old school Miami Beach style at that. Only beer bar I know that has a pool. As ambiance goes, that’s good shit. So yeah, Lou’s actually has a pretty good beer list. The prices range from not great to f’n ugly, but in general this is a good place for someone who knows all the beers and can spot the relative bargains. The food, though, is oversalted and overpriced. If I wanted oversalted meat, there’s a lot of South American spots around the corner I could do that for half the price.

Hey Lou’s! I like you! Sticker shock ouch subsides, because you are so cute and relaxed and just a few blocks from where I grew up. You are still cheaper the Delano pool bar, with better beer, and just as many beautiful people. And the food is quite nice. North Beach needs you, Lou!

Great little place, built up around a swimming pool at the back of what was an apt building and now a clean and tastefully decorated Hotel. Sofa’s and nice furniture are scattered around to make it a very comfortable place to enjoy craft beers and great food. When in the South Beach area it’s a great cool place to visit.
