Wonderful, well laid-out place with an excellent selection. Everything is well-organized in fridges, with a good cider and mead selection as well. Prices are maybe a touch higher than Bottleworks. Good taplist too. Service is friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the best bottle shops in WA.

Visited on Thursday Sept 10, 2009. Shopped for a bit, then met up with DalzAle, bvc and kp in the rear beer garden. The store itself has one wall of coolers for beer and wine, and then a few displayers about for more beer and wine. The selection is really good, right up there with anywhere else in Seattle. The real highlight of this place though, is the beer they have on tap. You can fill growlers to go, or you can enjoy a glass while shipping, or hanging out the tables in the store or the large beer garden out back. to be fair, "beer garden" is a stretch, its really just a portion of the back parking lot reclaimed. Regardless, it was a great place to have a couple of pints on a great evening. If you donít find anything on tap, they have a very minimal corking fee if you want to open any of their bottles. This concept is seriously great, and really well executed by the employees. Brandon, you were right, this place rocks.

94 = ★★★★Ĺ (World class)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Nice place, with 24 seats plus patio; I like these beershops with taps. The selection of bottles is very large. And they pour small samples (3oz). Nice music, not loud. Recommended.

Great website. Easy order. Fast delivery. Unusual "local" beers. Highly recommended. Actual store is even better!!!

Malt & Vine I knew they had a good beer selection but I did not know about the wine or the taps they had going on. 6 different taps at the ready with some killer beers being poured. They have 700 different bottled beers from near and far to the crazy Belgian stuff from Belgium-land. Also have an extensive wine area. Very knowledgeable service I know I will be back when I am in the area.

Expansive array of chilled offerings. Plenty of Belgians, European and domestic craft brews. They certainly have an adequate supply of NW and local offerings. Next time Iím in town Iíll be back for more local brews. There didnít seem to be too much overlap with the selection at bottleworks that I noticed during my visit to the area. I found several local brews here not found there. Two things: 1. I wish I had more time the day I visited to talk beer with the proprietor and sample some draft offerings, 2. Where was this place when I used to live near here? This is the kind of place I needed.

This place has become a regular stop for me for the past year or so that theyíve been open. A few things are higher priced than the supermarkets, but as bottle shops go theyíre more than competitive. They get virtually everything that every other store in town gets. Doug & Lizzie are super personable, knowledgeable, and cool. They make a serious effort with wine as well, and offer the unique-ish feature of rentable cellaring space. They always take care of you if youíre serious about beer. They even do weekly beer tastings, followed the next day by wine tastings. Theyíre in it for the love of it without a doubt.

Went here for the first time. Clean place, fridges surround the place, some wine, and taps. Tables for people to bring their own food in (which a lot of the locals were doing this Sunday evening). The prices were standard or a $1 more. Their Anniversary beer was unnecessarily expensive. Tap selection was good, a few nice import taps. They seemed to have a few bottles I had not seen around shops in Seattle.

Well worth it for a Seattle local to visit.
I would not trek my way here out of Seattle during high density times for visitors.

Close to my hotel so made the drive over here and was glad I did. Huge selection and lots of hard to find bottles available. I was able to stock up and wish I could have bought more. They had quite a few taps on and plenty of seating. Very friendly service and they had plenty of room to move around the store. Most bottles were in coolers, like what I saw at Bottleworks, and I was just shocked as the selection was huge. If I am in the area again, I will be back to visit.

I stopped in after the Washington brewers beer fest. This was my first time in the shop it was great. A nice selection of taps, tons of coolers stocked with good beer, and a good looking wine section aswell. I also noticed a pretty sweet looking outside seating area to enjoy a pint. This place was very clean and setup well. Once again I got to say bottleworks who???
