Completely odd brewpub meets sloppy grill restaurant. On my 1st visit the Pils and Dunkel were in great condition. 2nd visit they were oxidized and not fresh. Food was horrible. Not fresh, undercooked and bland. Slov service and the waitress couldnt calculate and figure out 28.50 from 50. My girlfriends soda had no Co2 or ice cubes. Poured from a 2L Plastic bottle.
Tickers looking for craft variety should look elsewhere. Those who appreciate a well-made house brew and quirky atmosphere will be perfectly happy here. All the beer made in-house on the tiny kit, no fakery here. Usually three house beers on offer. Traditional grub (haven’t tried it). Increasingly overlooked and underrated little brewpub, given all that’s happened on the Berlin beer scene.
Small place with a interesting decoration of glass, 1950 radios and old beer signs.
Just 3 different beers but all good. Not much people but friendly staff. The brewer one of them who liked to talk about his beers.
Well it is a nice little corner cafe/pub.
Claiming to be the smallest brewery in Berlin.
Hmmm I think I brew a lot better beer at home. No excuse to be small.
I can honestly enough not recommend this place. But they do have some bottles also.
Possible to sit outside and hava a Maisel!
They did not even know the name on their own beers....
Located on the corner of a busy street in the very heart of Berlin, this rather small brewpub boasts of a cozy, perhaps a little tacky, old-fashioned-ish interior, in which guests are served by rather slow waiters. The selection is very limited, including two of the hrewpub’s own beers and about twice as many well-known German macros sold in bottles. Fair prices. Well, a place to hunt if you want to rate and review Berlin, but otherwise not worth your time.
Good location and nice, cosy interior. Service slow, speaks only German and seems like they don’t really know a thing about house beers. Beer itself not worthy the price, you can buy better stuff in average shop around the corner.
