Strange that I havenít rated this place. Anyway, basement location downtown, and if youíre in the immediate area worth a trip. The beer section is in the door and to the left, all the way in the back. Thereís no service - Iíve never been asked if I need help or anything, which is fine - I donít. Selection isnít bad - they have a fair amount of beer, including singles and bombers, but pricing tends to be... well, lacking. Most of the singles do not have a price near them, so itís your best guess. Also, you may find some rarities hidden in plain sight on the shelves that other local places may or may not carry, or may or may not lottery off. I usually leave with a couple of 6-packs of mixed singles Iíve not tried - some of them I havenít seen in my other regular spots. Iím always just worried that one of these days Iíll fall through the floor - there are a few floorboards that seem quite mushy.

A small place, but with a very extensive beer selection. The customer service is pretty non-existent, but they always welcome questions at the counter. Prices are reasonable, just not the cheapest in town.

Very good selection for the space (itís basically a basement, we refer to the beer room as the "beer cave", but itís not exactly huge). No space wasted on macros and its well thought out. Wide selection of singles and they arenít punitively priced (price of a single is generally 1/6 the price of a 6-pack). They have beer tastings every Wednesday with a different theme each week, which are almost always great and Clinton does a very good job at finding interesting beers. Plus they usually have discounts on the beer theyíre tasting, plus theyíve always got a beer or two on special as the "beer of the week." A fairly hidden gem.

Good beer selection and a nice staff...they will do special orders and the selection (somewhat limited by space) seems well thought out. They have sections for German, Belgian, English, and American beers, plus a mixed bag from other countries (including some French micros). Many singles available and theyíll break apart any 6-pack you wish. They have a weekly tasting on Friday mostly focused on wine but also featuring two beers. I love visiting this place and peeking into the corners of the old wood shelves.

They focus mostly on the wine side, leaving the beer side lacking a little polish. But, still a good selection and helpful people. Good on American, English and Belgian beers. This is the kind of place where you never know what youíll find, but chances are youíll always find something good. Prices are decent and as long as you ask them first, they will let you buy a single from a pack.
