It’s been a long time since I rated Mas, almost as long as it had been since I’d been there (except for one time a year and a half ago). Mas is a trendy hipster type place. The food can be incredible, but be prepared to spend a shitload of money for a little bit of food. The beer selection isn’t as good as I remember it being - perhaps is was never great. There’s no Bud Lite on tap - closest you’ll get to that is Stella, and the rest are trendy or local brews. What did I get? I ordered a Starr Hill IPA, I received a Hardywood Pils ($7 pint, btw). Don’t go here for beer.

Visited with a few colleagues for dinner. Really nice, semi-industrial ambiance. The food’s tasty tapas. I would say the beer list is borderline for inclusion on ratebeer. Frankly, if this place wasn’t already in the database, I wouldn’t have added it. There were 2 common local beers from Starr Hill and Devils Backbone available. A couple of bottles from Goose Island’s core group were available too. That’s it. Service was fine, prices were cheap. Overall, come for the tapas. Go elsewhere for beers.

Finally visited this place. Located in a trendy gentrified part of town. Went on a Monday night, but I imagine parking can be hell on the weekends. Not sure what the structure used to be, but the decor is brick and pipiing... definite industrial vibe. Food is good... lots of tapas options. Tasty, but expensive. They have an average beer list that will appeal to hipsters. Chimay on tap along with a few others. A few bottles too. You’ll find a few good things to drink here, but nothing spectacular. Decent place if your in a tapas kind of mood.

Really fun Spanish Tapas bar in Belmont, they have a decent international selection and some good local micros. Also a great wine selection. Overall a good place to have good authentic Spanish cuisine and lots of drinks.
