Familiar (slightly industrial) brewpub setting. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Lots of stylistic diversity on the draft list, albeit almost entirely their own beers. Good bar food as well. Not to be missed if youíre in Lahaina.
1-15-16 Re-rate: It appears I visit this place every 4 years or so. I was here in Dec. 2011 but didnít re-rate it. Place hasnít changed much in the last 4 years, which is understandable now that Maui Brewing has moved their primary brewing operations to a new location in Kihei. This spot is still great despite the lack of outdoor seating, which is mitigated somewhat by going in the evening! They are up to something like 19 beers, all of which are their own but of which 4-5 are copycats or collabs with other brewers. The place was busy and since itís a haul to get to Kihei with traffic these days I hope they keep this place operating. 2-20-07: I was last here 4 years ago when it was Fish and Game Rotisserie or something like that. Despite the name and logo change, the place hasnít changed a bit in 4 years. Located in the corner of a nice strip mall that also features Royís; located less than 5 miles north of Kaanapali beach. Dark interior; padded bar stools which I recall were new when I was here in 2003, but seem a little worse for the wear now. I wish the place had outdoor seating. Itís a bit depressing to be inside in a dark bar when itís beautiful outside. The beer is hit and miss. Of the 8 beers I had in the sampler, 4-5 were very good and 3-4 were forgettable. The hoppy ales were excellent; the doppelbock and imperial stout were disappointments. The brewer clearly knows what heís doing. If youíre on Maui, donít miss it.
Not a far drive from Lahaina town, this little corner store is in a small strip mall near the beach and hotels. Very crowded but we found the last 2 seats at the bar. Ordered a flight of beer, but no food.Beer was tasty, especially the Imperial Coconut Porter that was on draft. Even though the staff were friendly enough, just didnít get the Ahana feal.
Visited on 23/04/14 around 3pm.
The brewpub is a modern (ish) facility at the edge of a mall about 5 or so miles from downtown Lahaina.
18 of their own beers on tap with quite a few seasonal/one offs that donít get canned or widely distributed.
$6 for 4 x 4oz samplers made the ticking pretty effortless.
We sat at the bar which has a tray of crushed ice built into it to keep your drinks chilled!
The place was fairly busy considering it was twixt lunch and dinner and the service was friendly and efficient.
Didnít eat a full blown meal but grazed on sliders which were tasty enough.
They offer a full bar servce with a range of cocktails also.
Solid stop if in the area, probably the one go to destination on the island.
Enjoyed 2 meals here over the last few days. Saw San Franciscoís series winning homer here. Lots of Giant fans here. Place was rocking. Good rock music when game not on. Girl server not so good. Guy server was fast and knowledgeable. Good variety of beers.
