Well this is a fine place to have pizza, and not have to compromise on beer selection. Very good, but average Roma pizza (like in the mall?). Beer is over priced, w/ Dead Guy being the best they got. Fun family atmosphere thou.
We had dinner here with a group of 6 and a baby on a Friday night when school was out, so it wasn’t too crowded. The service was fine; the young waitress was friendly. The food is always good at MM, and this one is no different. The beer menu at this location was a little weaker than I’ve typically seen at this chain’s other locations. I was, however, able to find a couple interesting locals and others at my table took advantage of the Westbrook Key Lime Gose cans that were available. Overall, not the best store of this chain but worth a stop for good food and a local pint or two.
The food a Mellow Mushroom is typically very good, however, the prices tend to be a bit expensive in my opinion. They do have a respectable selection of beers (compared to typical Columbia offerings) on tap with varous seasonals rotating in the mix.
Wait times can be pretty lengthy on weekend evenings.
It is located in the Vista area of Columbia so various other restaurants and bars are nearby.
The ambiance of the place is typical Mellow Mushroom, though somehow more inviting than a few of the others I’ve visited. The upper level is more of a bar with more seating than the lower level. Beer selection is just okay. A handful of regional session beers were on like Highland and Sweetwater. The bottle list is just okay with some offerings from Lagunitas being the highlight. I wouldn’t go here looking for an expansive beer selection, but it’s a decent place to get pizza and know you don’t have to drink swill.
Been there a couple times. Had a very good calzone in December 06, then had pizza last week. Decent tap beer selection, other rare finds in bottle. Definitely not the Flying Saucer for selection but still pretty good. Make sure you work up an appetite (by whatever means necessary) before you go there. I came there hungry, and left with energy to stay up most of the night!
Great place to start the night off for hungry 20 somethings! Pizza selection awsome, trendy drafts and classic bottle selections a plenty. A little noisey to be too intimate in a crowd, so make sure you take care of that first...

Beer selection is fine but the pizza selection is excellent. Some of the best pizza you’ll get in Columbia. Nice location in the Vista.
