I stopped at this place on my first night in town. I was expecting a sports bar, and it pretends to be a crappy one at that. They don’t have all the games on that you want. The menu is pretty bland and boring--what you’d expect from such a place. It was nice to see them have CCB Maduro Brown, Bells Two-Hearted, Bells Oberon, and a few other nice little micros on tap. I was plenty happy with the beer, but that might be due to the fact that I never see these beers back in Cali. They had 2 for 1 pints of craft beer on Thursdays, so you really can’t beat that!

This is another one of those places that should not be listed. I enjoyed my food which was basic American bar food, nothing beer related on the menu except the beer batter on the onion rings and fish. The actual beer menu was pretty small and comparable in selection to the Ale Houses in Tampa and Brandon. The service was friendly and I would eat here again but this is not a beer destination.

What used to be more of a generic, sports-themed restaurant has evolved into a pretty good beer place! Only a few months ago, the tap selection was limited at best, but now they have excellent choices on tap and the food is much much better. Ambience is still sort of blah, but the beer is good and there is plenty of it to choose from!
