Nice big, spacious parking lot in front. Located just a touch west of downtown. The largest selection I have seen in Nashville so far. Lots of breweries, domestic and international. All bottles can be purchased as singles. Prices were pretty reasonable (maybe a touch higher than other places in town). Staff was friendly and asked if I needed help finding anything and were helpful with questions I had. Would definitely go back.
Free dedicated parking lot right in front. Nice good size brick building. Small market atmosphere, doing construction when I was there. Asked a couple questions. Selection did not seem as good as Frugal Macdoogal a couple miles away. Pricing was good. You can get single bottles out of six-pack that are open, but no single can. I would go back.
Stopped in here on the way back to the hotel, heard I may be able to find some local bottles. Atmosphere was standard liquor/bottle shop with people milling around all over the place. Service was decent. Was asked twice if I needed any help, I didn’t tho. Quality seemed pretty solid. I checked a few of the bottles and they were all within their dates. Selection was pretty good but I didn’t see any local bottles I was on the lookout for which kind of sucked. Only thing I thought about buying was a special sweet water but I decided it wasn’t worth it. Prices were reasonable on most, a few were a little overpriced. Overall a good bottle shop overall, just nothing amazing.
Split store - one side handles low(er) alcohol beers and the other side handles high gravity beer, wine, liquor.
Great selection of stuff on shelves, and in coolers. Most likely the best selection in Nashville. Good choice of ciders as well. Fairly knowledgable staff. Low-gravity stuff is available in singles, but high-grav four packs and six packs cannot be split up.
10/24/13 - In Nashville on business and made this my first stop. No real ambiance to speak of, just a typical bottle shop. Went in the beer store first. Great selection! Had a lot of stuff I did not see elsewhere in Nashville. Numerous breweries represented. You can buy singles from all 6-packs they sell, which is a hige plus! And while they have several coolers full of different beers, they have a far greater selection of warm beers, which is good for the traveler looking to take different beers home. Had several beers in the cooler that I did not see warm though. I ended up spending way more money than I had intended too. Person working the register was friendly and engaged me in small talk. I did not know that Nashville had to separate the higher alcohol beers though and noticed several Stone and Sweetwater bombers in the attached liquor store, neccesitating a visit and additional money spent. The liquor store had a few rows and shelves of higher alcohol content beers, most of which are seasonal, one-offs, and hard to find. Typical, fair prices. Could have easily spend hundreds in these two stores. Great selection and a definite must stop.
This is probably the best bottle shop in Nashville with not only great selection, but knowledgeable staff. They always seem to get a hold of special releases and don’t gouge the price - which I appreciate.
Good selection, especially on the over 6% side, and the staff was helpful without being overbearing. Prices seemed reasonable, and they had a ton of stuff I couldn’t get in Knoxville. The beer side’s selection wasn’t quite as impressive, but still not bad.
