Perhaps I caught them on an off day or week? My impression (July 04): very boring selection..amber, blonde, light etc; when an APA is the most "interesting" style you may have problems. Only the hefe was above average; food (pizza) quite mediocre. Ambience (huge airy old warehouse with a cool balcony over the not-so-scenic river) and service were both good though, so I’d think about returning...

Above-average food, and they make a decent pale ale. They do offer some cask versions of their beers.
Protip: if it’s crowded upstairs head to the basement bar. It’s much quiter and all the beers are there.
Their brews are alright. Some of the lighter styles I were not expecting to like were at least good, but what should have been very good styles seemed to fall a tad short. Very good food, although I wouldn’t recommend the spicy food with beer tasting. Atmosphere is definitely the way BitterPoet describes it: Rock Bottom-ish.
Went there on June 19, 2004. Reminded me very much of Rock Bottom Brewery in Minneapolis.
A little too meat-market for my tastes, but for darts with the boys, it was just fine.
For the record they have one of their beers on cask at all times. Someone please change that on the checklist!
