Old garage type of bar with 20 really nice choices on tap, about half local, no food, large open spaces, patio, no flights but 10 oz available, neighborhood type clientele, punk music, real pints, definitely worth a visit time to time.
Been a while since Iíve been but last I went: solid selection, with cool outer foyer that leads into an inner area that has more seating. Can get pretty crowded, but a nice spot nonetheless. Selection is good but usually nothing too crazy. Occasionally will have some more exotic stuff. Worthwhile if youíre nearby but not something worth going out of your way for.
Outdoors / garage type feel to the bar, but in a good way. Relaxed vibe with a slight hipster feel to it. I havenít been here too many times, but from following the beer menu online, it seems itís one of the most consistent spots in Brooklyn as far as quality and rotation goes. Definitely worth a stop if youíre in the area - especially given itís proximity to Strong Rope, Threes, 4th Ave Pub, etc.
Quite ok place with quite a lot of seats before you actually get to the bar. Good but not outstanding tap list, average service. Good enough to be your local pub, but I wouldnít travel for it with so many other options in this city.
It seemed wrong not to stop past mission Delores on our way between Threes and Other Half. The bar area itself is pretty small, but they have a large courtyard area right in front of it. It is kitted with what seems to be Brooklyn hipster postmodernism decor and similar to plenty of the beer venues we toured around on our NYC & Brooklyn trip. Not that Iím saying that it was a bad thing. They offer some 20 taps of beers which are shown on the chalkboard. A real mix of breweries and beer style was available, which on our visit was less from local breweries and more from the likes of Stone, Allagash, Smuttynose and such like. Plenty of good stuff, but it didnít quite stand out on the crazy quality of beer on offer nearby. Friendly female staff member of the heavily tattooed and pierced variety. A decent beer joint I donít doubt.
Cool bar for a beer during the day. The front room with itís glass panelled ceiling gives a bright and spacious feel. The bar can be found through the middle room and at the back. Well thought out tap selection and a few good ones I had yet to find around town. The dude working behind the bar was friendly and pretty chilled. Cool spot to hang out for a bit. Expect dogs.
This was a student place kind of bar. Suprisinly "rustic" even I believe it is not os old bar. The tap selection is worth of visiting. At the time of my visit there was a lot of Canadian beers on tap and after it Boulevard beers were coming in. Service was alright and I kind of liked this dim-lighted bar.
Iím a big fan of Mission Dolores. Iíve stopped in a few times since moving to the neighborhood and always feel welcome.
It has an open air feel with the glass ceilings and the staff and crowd have been great.
Itís extremely dog friendly which is a big plus in my world.
Selection was decent, many local options which are growing on me.
Definitely going to be a regular stop.
