Placed smelled great inside - reminded me of brew day at home! Had a great selection of their beers on tap, of which I sampled two. Both were pretty good. Had an awesome black and blue burger. Great food and good brews, a good combination.
Visited later evening on a Tuesday. Located just off the Pearl Street mall, sort of a small pocket building. Big open narrow space, with a busy, crowded bar at the back. The back bar is where you get your beer, then there are tables throughout the room, and a narrow sidewalk patio out front. 15 house beers on offer, fun variety of styles. Friendly efficient service, and a fun happy crowd. I enjoyed my stop.
76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
Very crowded, no parking, had to pay for parking in a garage and they didn’t validate. The service was kind and attentive. Good selection of beer, but there are better in Boulder. The food was ok, but they got my friend’s order wrong and my wife had a piece of steel wool in her burger. Everything was comped, but it was a bad experience for us that day.
Visited during a busy lunch rush while on vacation. Fun bright decor- a mix of southwest and "hippie" with art painted right onto the walls. Good basic selection of house brews. I enjoyed all the ones I sampled. Service was good- he brought me some samples to my taste, was attentive despite the rush, but not a hoverer. Food (burger) was good but not mind-blowing. Prices seemed decent, but I am not familiar with area prices. Good first stop.
Great location right on Pearl Street, cool building with lots of art and music décor. Beer is okay. Food not that great. Staff really is a bunch of kids that don’t have a vast knowledge of beer. Overall, it’s fine.
We came in for lunch on a Saturday and the place was hopping. Thirty minute wait for a table but they were serving unlimited samples. I sampled four stouts before being seated. Sweet! All were quite tasty.
