This is my local wine & spirits store and I’m glad it is. Excellent selection of wine and sour beers. Staff is very knowledgeable and is always willing to help you decide what to get. If service and sour beers were the only rating choices, they’d get a 100% from me.

Stopped in here while I was in Denver since it was the top rated place downtown. OK shop with lots of wine and liquor and a relatively small beer selection. Some good bottles like a BA Avery brew and some Crooked Stave Origins. Other than that, most of what I saw here is on the shelves here in Florida. Pretty disappointing to go to such a big beer city and find that this is the best that’s offered in terms of bottle shops. Service was nice, and prices were OK. Not worth going way out of your way for, but if you’re walking around in that part of town, might as well stop in. I am guessing if you live in town it is easier to access things that come out periodically as special releases.

Mr’ B’s is located on Market Street in downtown Denver, a couple blocks from Coors Field. Street and lot parking is available in the immediate area.

The interior is laid out like a typical well lit liquor store, with the beer being located along the right side and rear both in coolers along the wall and on shelves.

There are several hundred beers available, including many Colorado breweries like Epic, Crooked Stave, New Belgium and River North. Other craft breweries like Perennial, Lost Abbey and Lagunitas plus many imports.

Service on a weekday afternoon prior to a Rockies game was good. The guys behind the counter were friendly and helpful. I left with a box full of beer.

Overall this is a worthwhile beer store to visit downtown. I would definitely stop in again on future visits.

Nice shop downtown, but selection isn’t anything special. Enough for a few bottles that you may find interesting but only average compared to other shops.

Smaller sized store, somewhat limited selection, but carefully selected. Lots of stuff you don’t see on the shelf hardly anywhere else in town. Great, knowledgeable staff. Definitely worth checking out, easily the best beer store in the general downtown area. Update: Special releases seem to be fair and organized well. Random cellar stuff on the shelf occasionally. Cool place.

Hardish to get to because of it’s downtown location. Not a huge selection but the owners do a really good job of rotating though their bottles. It’s not my primary store, but one I like to stop at when I’m in the neighborhood. Prices are a little high due to the downtown locale.

Mr. B’s does a good job carrying plenty of interesting beer. You will find things that aren’t at most other liquor stores and they seem to hang around just a little longer than Argonaut, for instance. There were some bums hanging around and going in to buy cheap liquor, keeping the place classed up. The prices are a little high, to be expected given its location directly in the heart of LoDo. Some things are par, some things are significantly marked up, but I didn’t notice any great deals on any beer which I can usually find in the bigger liquor stores. If you’re downtown anyway and you want something to take home this will more than meet your needs. Several more visits have taught me that Mr. B’s is one of the select liquor stores around that gets all of the crazy rare stuff that trickles into Denver from time to time. It’s worth coming in to look for that kind of stuff specifically.

Visited here twice during GABF week. Directly when I walked trough the door we were approached by a clerk asking if we needed assistence. When he heard we were from abroad he directly called a clollegue and there were two guys trying their best to show us some good beers. They also told us that they had special releases during GABF week so we went back for that as well. Prices are very reasonable and selection is big. Mostly American, some Belgian and few other countries. Very good store and recommended if you ever visit Denver!

Nice little beer store near the ballpark in Denver. Selection is smaller than expected, but carefully curated. Very friendly owner. Helpful staff. Overall, a really nice experience. Great place to ship for craft whiskey or spirits if that’s your thing as well.

I’ll start with the best. This store is all about quality and customer service. Nearly every time I enter the store I’m welcomed and almost immediately approached to see if I need any assistance, which I typically do, due to the high quality of their selection. Of the beers you’ll find here, they are all simply the best examples of either that style, brewery and region. From Italian sours, to the latest local IPAs, to the classic (and up-and-coming) European beers the selection is top notch here. Not to mention they have a collaboration with River North brewery which tells me a couple things. One, they’re connected to the community at large, and two, they care about beer. Great store, great service. About the only caveats of this store is that it’s in a somewhat awkward place so parking is street only and sometimes can be difficult to get to during baseball games at Coors or festivals on Market/Larimer. The other caveat is while their selection is top notch, you won’t find everything here... but I’m not typically looking for average stuff, so not a detraction for me. Prices are about on par with other stores in the area, maybe a couple pennies more, but it’s worth it for the service you get here. Overall highly recommended.

Tiny liquor store located within the shadow of Coors Field. They do have a coulle of parking spaces next door which is nice mThe beer is confined to 10-11 coolers and an endcap. The selection was fairly small and lacked a pick six section but they did have a lot of Belgian, Scandinavian, and local bombers. I did have a clerk ask me if I needed help while clearly facing the beer section which never, ever happens in liquor stores ever so top marks on service. It’s a solid neighborhood place but I can’t see it as any sort of destination place.
