Went in here with IBrew2or3 and some friends on a GABF Thursday. The place had just opened and one of the owners came up and started chatting it up with us. He was happy to show us around his selection and tell us about new and interesting beers. He was very knowledgeable and had a great selection of beers both limited and unlimited. I will make it in here every time I am in Denver. With a location within walking distance of Falling Rock, River North, and Star Bar, like MacArther, I will return!
Great little bottle/can joint ... friendly staff, pushed their collab brews, although mainly a wine store they have mostly local CO brew .. appreciated this and the beer talk on Colorado brew ... these guys are the guardians of Denver beer .... go to them for guidance .... you won't be disappointed
An excellent beer shop overall. Great selection. Although, a lot of the beers are only available in packs (sixers, 12 packs, etc.) and they don't break them, which is a true bummer. The service is attentive to a silly degree; I had four people come ask me if I needed help. Pretty decent prices. Great location. If you're looking to pick up some bottles, this is the place.
Pretty wonderful bottle shop right near the heart of downtown. Not the biggest selection I’ve seen, but it’s very well-curated. Staff are extremely attentive and friendly, eager to help. Prices are reasonable. This is the go-to spot in town as I understand it.
Wasn’t going to stop here but was walking by so I thought why not. Went in and the selection was pretty small but some really great choices. Prices were a bit higher than out in the suburbs but the staff seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. There was a huge St. Patty’s day parade and festival going on downtown and the cashier thanked me for buying good beer. He said he didn’t think he’d be selling anything other than Coors Light, PBR, etc. that day. Good store but far from the best in town. Maybe just the best in downtown.
I was expecting a bigger craft selection. They do get all the rare releases, but they go quickly. A bit pricier than other shops. Pain in the ass to park. I don’t think I’d go back when in Denver... there are so many other bigger and better shops. Nice staff.
Visited during GABF week. Staff was very helpful and chatty, but the selection wasn’t as big and wide as I expected. Some special brews but not THAT much. A nice bottle shop but I don’t really get the hype.
Easy to find place with lots of parking centrally located. Friendly young’s owners. Loads of spirits and wine. Beer selection is pretty good, only this is that most small bottles are only sold in 6 packs which is annoying if you are travelling and what to buy a selection of stuff to take with you. Overall good shop with a bunch of rare stuff.
This is my local wine & spirits store and I’m glad it is. Excellent selection of wine and sour beers. Staff is very knowledgeable and is always willing to help you decide what to get.
If service and sour beers were the only rating choices, they’d get a 100% from me.
