A fine brewpub, but nothing to get excited about. I like that itís here and makes its own beer, but the beer itself is not terribly exciting. Large enough place and located in a tourist center so itís easy to find. Certainly go to it if you want something other than standard Spanish beerfare. There are a few bars now further north in the city that have a much more exciting selection.
Visited on a Friday afternoon. Old fashioned european brewpub in downtown Madrid (tacky interior with copper kettles in the back). Three beers on tap, wasnít expecting much but the quality was better than expected, decent offerings, available in small and large, small makes for a nice taster. They serve some food but I didnít try it, service was friendly to tourists. Worth stopping by for a few quick ones.
This historical brewpub is obviously focused on a German style of beers/bar ambiance. They have taps on each table and if they had more references for sure it will be more frequented! Nice terrace on a wonderful square
