Stopped by during a day trip to Tucson. Pretty good ambiance in an industrial district. You certainly won’t stumble upon this place. Had a sampler of eight of their beers plus one other from a different brewery. Beer is slightly above average some good selections but not blown away. Food is so-so. Worth a stop if in the area.
stopped by a few times and really dug the atmosphere every time but could not get past the attitude of the staff. Food is average and the draft beer is good when it’s on. I have been 4-5 times now and there have been tap issues 3 of those times. Looks like it could be a really cool place to hang out but I’ve run into too many problems to continue to go.
I really enjoyed this place from the moment I walked in I felt like i had gone back in time to the old west. The place is mostly old wood with one central bar in the middle and a few tables sprinkled around. From anywhere you can see the large beer tanks in the brewery (no wall separates them from the bar area) They had a good selection of beers from Pale Ales to Stouts. I was able to get a sample of almost all of them for free. :-) They have Growlers and beers sold by the 6 pack. Overall a great little brewery. If in the area I recommend giving it a shot.
Nestled in the back of a warehouse district, so it wasn’t very easy to find if you were unfamiliar with the area. The inside of the place was dark and eclectic, with cool artwork and lots of people for a weekday afternoon. They had about six or seven beers on tap and others in bottles. I was hoping for a sampler, but they didn’t have one. The bartender was generous with the samples and pours though. Good beer, but didn’t try the food. A cool place.
A large, welcoming place, service was outstanding, food was well above average, sadly the beers didn’t live up to the standard. Beers were weak to average, but they DO have guest taps, with beers from Bells, Firestone Walker, and others available. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was great, served with their "haystack onions". The fried bologna sandwich also seemed to be an excellent choice.
WOW! This is my kinda place! You order your beer and food from the bar and then the waitress has to find you , Via a number on a stick that they give you! Its a big warehouse like Barrio and in the same hood. a little difficult to find but NOT impossible and well worth it! Take advantage of the taxi service and drink heartily! The beer is superb and all Nimbus! You will have to go back a few time so you can enjoy everything there is on the menu. Service was great! Don’t eat outside if you don’t want to share your food with the community of flies that are out there. Like I said, my kinda place!
Decent place, six beers regularly on tap, and occasional rotations. Got a quick tour of the brewing area, 6,000 bbl capacity, pretty impressive. You can watch the action in the brewpub, which was a plus. Food was OK. Beers were above average for brewpubs, Monkeyshine and Oatmeal Stout were my favorites. Great service, very friendly.
My regular weekly outing. Beer is wonderful food is well above average and the service is terrific. One server in particular named Wendy is outstanding. She is knowledgeable friendly and efficent great service.
