No doubt - best venue in Vilnius, when compared to others that manage to stay on market. Good choice of beers, frequent rotation, often tap takeovers and "meet the brewer". Friendly staff, reasonable prices :)
Located in a lesser frequented lane in the Old Town, this tiny bar is, beerwise, the most impressive one I have visited in the city. The selection on the 22 taps includes a fair mixture of great Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian microbrews as well as other niceties from outsidebthe Baltic region. The staff know very well what the sell and they are very polite. Reasonable prices. There is some pub snack menu, but I haven't tried any of the things yet. Maybe next time. A must-visit if you are in town.
This is a legit excellent bar. My only complaint about it - and it's minor - is the lack of lithuanian taps (relatively speaking) - I think it was like 5 / 20. The non-Lithuanian taps are esoteric enough generally to make up for it - a couple of Browar from Poland, a rare Freigist from Germany - and the bartender knew his stuff and was on top of everything. Have to go here if in Vilnius, especially given the location.
Great place - the best in Vilnius I was in. Lots of good taps, international and local stuff. You can try 4 oz tasters for less than 2 euros. Some decent bottles, and bartender is friendly. Friendly customers too. Nice place.
Very central land easy to find. Bit dingy darker bar. Offers small pours score with about 20 taps, about ¼ Lithuanian, surprising selection of foreign craft on tap including the likes of De Molen, Sori,… etc. Nothing new for me. Interesting bottles including some surprising imports like a Japanese beer I had never seen before and actually a sake from Kiuchi. He had some interesting Lithuanian stuff for sure focus is definetly on modern craft. Very friendly and helpful owner, he kept trying to convince me to drink Green Monster IPA which is all the rage in Vilnius but I have had that one before I wasn’t into it. Impressive selection of foreign stuff in Vilnius but also smaller poors, friendly guy. Had some dried baked beans as a snack. Good prices.
Definitely the best ticking spot in town. Room for about 20 taps, but 4-5 we’re off when I visited. Of the remaining, 5 were Lithuanian crafts and the rest were decently chosen European beers. 100mL samples are available for €1.80. Service is astute but lacking a modicum of friendliness and really quite grumpy. Definitely a mandatory stop when in Vilnius.
