Nice place. Excellent selection of domestic micros, good choice of singles, good prices, samples usually on hand to try. Friendly and knowledgeble staff that won’t bother you if you just want to look. If you’re in the area go here and whole foods - norm’s for the domestic hard to finds; whole foods for the rare imports and seasonals.

Just a great brew store. I make a trip here and to Whole Foods once a month and just load up on whatever I can afford. A great selection of US micros, imports and rarities. They have a bunch of quality six packs and bombers to choose from and a pretty good singles selection. I just wish they would let you break apart a six pack. Norm and the other staff members are extremely helpful, will offer suggestions and offer to carry stuff out to your car. If you’re going to blow your money, you might as well give it to good people who sell good beer.

The guys in Norm's are nice and always willing to listen to stories. They gave me multiple samples of various items before they closed. It's always great to go to Whole Foods, then head over to Norm's and see what single bottles you can get there. Definitely a must stop if you go to Whole Foods. Norm's is a nice homely little store.

Good selection of American micros and rare beers. Upon my visit I had a great tourguide in Argo0. The staff will make suggestions when asked but looked to steer clear? I look forward to my next trip here - I may camp halfway between Norm's and Whole Food and spend my day sampling the greater pleasures in life!

Went here on 2-7-04 before jeffc666's party. Nice selection of beers but is lesser in rarer beers than Whole Foods. Plenty of cases of Victory and DFH along with some really great single. Tons of US micro six packs as well. Definitely worth the trip considering it's close proximity to Whole Foods.

Located only a few blocks from Whole Foods – Vienna, Norm’s is another great beer store. Their selection leans more towards American micros then Whole Foods and prices tend to be a bit lower. Case discounts are available, including mixed cases. Norm is a great guy and I very passionate about good beer and wine, speaking of wine, Norm also carries a great selection of small Vineyard wines, especially from Virginia. Oh yeah, Norm’s also sells beer by the keg and special orders are possible, just this past fall they had at least one keg of Sierra Nevada Harvest Ale.

Doesn't have the wide selection of rarities, trappists, and varied Belgians and such as Fresh Fields does, but has a wonderful selection of micros and a still-impressive import collection. Also, Norm's gives 10% discounts for mix-and-match sixers and cases. If you're buying in quantity, this is the best place in the metro area. As an aside, just a few doors up is Cenan's Bakery, which has excellent breads. Highly recommend the Olive Sourdough.

Locals are lucky to have Norm’s and Whole Foods Vienna within 3 blocks of each other. Go to Whole Foods for the Trappists, but stop by Norm’s for the wider selection of micros, particularly Virginia ones. And whichever one you hit first, leave room in your trunk for the second stop.
