Since we were in the area, we gave it a try. Service was ok, food was good and selection of their beers was decent. If you are in the area, give it a try, if not, there are a lot of other places to try.
I did not have great expectations going in except to try a few new beers and get some dinner. If you set the bar there then you will have a good time at this typical sports bar. The beer list is a mixture of Oggi’s and other local breweries. While the house beers were bland I have been to many worse places.
With projectors and large screen televisions this place had the vibe of a West Coast sports bar. If you want a low key place to have conversations it probably isn’t the place. The menu for food was more than just pizzas as well. Prices seemed reasonable for the area. For about $20 I was able to walk out with a flight of six house beers, a generously sized burger, and a full stomach.
Don’t go out of your way to visit but if you are staying at the nearby Homewood Suites with no transportation it is at least worth a single visit.
This is a big open square space much like the one in Phoenix, AZ. It has a good deal of outdoor patio seating too which, this area, makes for nearly year around outdoor dining and quaffing. I see red walls with a decent array of table, booth and bar seating options. I love seeing all the signed Charger jerseys on display as well as one from Tony Gwynn. Cool place. We had a pretty nice visit. My family and I will be back soon.
A rather small and cramped chain establishment located very near the airport. The beer is average and so is the wait staff. I did not have food on this trip, so I can only state that it looked good sitting atop other’s tables.
