The main bar for RBians in Copenhagen. The turn-around on rare danish micros has dropped a bit during the last year, but has been replaced by a better quality selection of beer on tap. Bottle selection is a bit too identical to what you find the stores. But Göller beers are exclusive to this place in Copenhagen. Hoppy hour before 20 on weekdays, large beer at the price of a small. Nice atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff - especially on Tuesdays. Huge thanks to the owners and barmanager to let us have our tastings here!
Original rating 2005: Small place with carefully picked international selection. Lots of hard to get in Europe -stuff. And staff ... well, at least a part of them are ratebeerians :)
Revisited in 2018: Ølbaren is my old favourite. I think I was here in 2005 for the first time. Small one room place in Norrebro. Looks like 20 beers on tap now. As always something from Belgium and Germany. Very homey, if you are around, pay a visit.
Nice cozy place with a clear "Scandi" feel to it. Around 20 beers on tap and a lot of bottles. Most of the beers is of high quality. Nice jazz music in the speakers, friendly and knowledgeable service, decent prices. The places was packed on a Monday evening, which really surprised me. Unfortunately it turned out that it was quiz night
Cosy small bar, with 22 well-selected choices of beers on tap - both classics as Schlenkerla Märzen and smaller microbreweries. Also a good bottle selection. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, with Chet Baker as background music.
