The food was great as was the accordian player. I went to this as I also found it on You-Tube with good comments. Great food and a very good Beer selection. I just wish they had Ayinger Octoberfest... at least during Octoberfest celebrations. Couldn’t find anywhere in Helen and it’s my favorite Marzen. Still, Helen’s Octoberfest is an event you don’t want to miss.

This is not a fancy beer garden or a restaurant with a great selection of food. But for a small bar in the middle of no where it has an outstanding selction of beer. Good people and atmosphere and best of all the CORN DOGS ARE FREE!!!!

It is hidden down a little alleyway in the middle of Helen. Attached to a Fudge shop and the Restaurant of the same name. The sign that caught my eye read, Steins for Sale. 2L Boot Glass for $70! So I wandered in and found a selection of German Beers that were unlike any I have found so far in Georgia. The flavored Warsteiners were here. A vast selection and different varieties of Augustiner, Aventinus, Weihenstephaners, and many others that I have not been able to find even at Green’s ! Very impressive. Lots of beer glasses for sale, lots of steins for sale as well. We ate in the restaurant that was attatched. Best German food in the State!
