A small bottle shop at the first floor at Mathallen. Quite good selection for a regular shop in Norway with the <4,7% rule in mind. Some rare american stuff, alot of nordic and some european stuff; and of course most of the norwegian micros. The problem is the windows. which let the sun reach parts of teh beer shelves. Not good in my book. The girl behind the counter provided both knowledge about the beers and good service

What Oslo has been waiting for! Even with Norway’s government’s strict laws around alchol sale above 4,7% This shop manages to have a very varied selection. The service is excellent. It’s a little hard to find at Mathallen, but ask anyone and they will direct you upstairs. They have brewing equipment for sale, but the focus is on norwegian microbreweries and excellent foreign beer. Thumbs up!

Visited for the first time on a Wednesday morning in February 2013. The place is located on the second floor at Mathallen, about 20 minutes walk from central Oslo. (Radisson Plaza Hotel) The young lady at the store was very friendly, they had a very nice selection of both Norwegian and foreign beer. (up tp 4,7%) I bought 4 bottles, normal Norwegian prices.
