I stopped by here on my way through Richmond. Wasn’t hard to find off of I-95. Beer selection was pretty good although probably not as good as I was expecting based on reviews and listings. But I picked up a few things I was looking for. The guy at the register was very friendly. Clean and well organized. Prices seemed about right. Didn’t appear to be the nicest area but I know little about Richmond. I’d go back if in the area.
These guys are my favorites. I have been going to see Bob & Rob for years, and you cannot go wrong!
They are very knowledgeable regarding their stock and about beer in general, and are always willing to go above and beyond to get me what I want.
Do yourself a favor and go see Bob.
Tell him Mike from Wilmington sent you.
Couldn’t be happier with this place. I’ve been through Richmond twice and both times I’ve picked up several cases from them. First time in the owner walked me around the store answering all my questions and let me try a beer I was interested in. Selection is outstanding, prices are fair, it is the first place you should stop if you are visiting the area.
A very nice selection. The store is a little small but well organized and the staff new where everything I asked for was. They took me around the store and made suggestions. Nice selection of Bells. Founders, Southern tier and various Belgiums. When I was leaving the store the helped carry out my cases and gave me a hard time about accepting a tip. I will go back on my next southern road trip it was about a mile off 95 which is a plus.
Not much in the way of ambiance but the selection easily makes up for it. Great beer store. Easily worthwhile.

In a sort of out of the way area of town, but worth it. Great beer selection, though it is a little pricy. Lots of foreign beers and the local and US stuff is well represented also. Cute dog running around. Helpful employees, though I hear the owner can be a bit rude. Nice glassware selection. Open parking lot in front of the store with lots of neighborhood folk around... I really like the vibe here.
I felt like a kid in a candy store here. I’m not used to this type of selection back in Tidewater, at least not in a store. The people who worked there are very cool. There was a dog roaming around most of the time. Luckily, I went here first on my beer store tour. I can’t wait to go back again and again.
I try to stop here whenever I’m in Richmond .... A nice hidden gem... great selection, a little overpriced but who cares about paying an extra buck for something that sells out before you get there, somewhere else ....... no pressure, they will answer any question you have if you ask, but they leave you alone ..... this place has a nice hometown feel and is a must visit if you’re in Richmond
