A typical pub, many small rooms and lots of wooden panels. Ok service and acceptable selection.

This bar is located in the most touristy area in Dublin so it will be busy pretty much always. They have an excellent selection of beers, many Irish beers, including IPAs, black IPAs and a good select of bottles. Staff is pretty knowledgeable, fast and easy going. This is my regular watering hole in Dublin.

A nice traditional pub and off course the tourists are present. ManVsBeer has given a good deScription of this labyrinth of a pub. I liked it. Friendly service at the bar, music played at comfortable sound level, lots of Irish craft beers and tasty Irish stew. (Visited February 16th 2016)

The beer selection here is ok, but since most bars in Dublin are now selling some craft beer, it’s hard to justify going to O’Neill’s for the beer alone. And there are not many other reasons to go. Typically packed with tourists, or rugby fans, and uncomfortably hot. If watching rugby and smelling other people’s sweat is your thing, you may well like O’Neill’s.

Nice old traditional boozer. Lots of wood panelling and lots of taps. Range isn’t too interesting although picked up a few new ones. Service quick, nice atmosphere. Food looked good. Not too pricey. Not bad overall. Better places in Dublin though

Every city in the world that has an Irish pub has a place called O’Neills, so it seems right to visit one in Dublin. Beer selection is grand. The bar is huge but it doesn’t feel like it with all of the nice nooks and crannies. The carvery looks unbelievable.

This pub, a short walk away from the northern beginning to the Grafton Street shops (and close to Trinity College) is a veritable maze of rooms and areas on different platform levels on different floors. There’s several bars all offering different drinks each time and depending on what entrance you go through you may not realise how big this pub is until you decide to explore. It’s popular given its location and includes a slightly out of place self-service type restaurant section which tends to suggest this is the fast way they can service the people through the door who want to eat. There’s plenty of craft keg and bottle ales here alongside some familiar mass produced brands of lager and other styles. There’s also a rooftop terrace which acts a smoking area too, so if your a non-smoker this may not be the most appealing of areas to be in.

Lot of levels and rooms in this place. be great if the barstaff is knowable what they are doing. Lot of micros and macros, that not the problem but the staff, and there is a great place to come have a drink.

Had a hot cold mix about this place.A very large old place, with a great selection of tap beers. You have to walk around all the bars to find them. Staff at the tables was rude and ignored me except for a remark about why they were there. Had to go to the bar to get served. Even when the place was near empty with a ton of staff about. The bartender was very nice and although clueless about beer was nice to chat with. There are better places to be had in Dublin
