This restaurant/pub near Campo de’ Fiori has the biggest selection of italian micros on draught (35 taps!) and some interesting "foreign" beers (about 6 taps, maybe 7 and sometimes others guest beers and cask on the counter). Amazing food and selection on bottle, the service is inconstant but usually good.
Great bar not far from the River Tiber, located in a side street. 35 keg fonts, 3 handpumps and a huge selection of bottles. Beers are mainly from Italian micros. The range includes blonde beers, pale ales, IPAs, black IPAs, Belgian style, wheat beers, dunkels, saisons, sour beers, stouts, porters and barley wines. Beer is served in 33cl measures, (10cl for Barley Wines) and they cost €5 each. There is a large main room, a middle room and basement room. The tables were always all reserved, so we sat at the bar each time we went. You need to get in there early to find a space. Folk wait outside to come in. The beers are listed on a blackboard by style and also in paper booklets produced every couple of days. Less of a choice on Sunday & Monday (down to 30 on tap) The staff were very helpful with recommending beers, although by the end of our hols we’ed tried them all. The burgers (only €8) are georgeous too, cooked medium to perfection, or as you like them. We also tried a cone of home-made crisps with home-made ketchup. The Baladin beers come from their own brewery. The wall of bottles behind the bar is impressive. We were surprised how good Italian beers are.
