In a bit of a warehouse like area this very open and good size tap room is a little old and comfortable. Lots of regulars we were immediately made to feel welcome. Service was nice and personable with a modest amount of beer knowledge. Selection was large but largely average, some horrible. No food but you can order in. Prices were very good for samples. A decent place for ticks but you aren’t going to find anything interesting.
This is located in an industrial area just outside of downtown. The interior is very open and dimly lit, sporting a pirate, oceanic and Orlando historical theme. The beers are good and the only food options were snack items.
One of the things I liked about the OB tasting room is that it’s a professional operation. The service is top-notch, and care is taken to ensure that visitors are enjoying themselves. None of the beers were off, and some were quite nice. Even better, the selection and variety is very good: we sampled about 12 beers. It’s a fun way to spend an hour. They give you handy comment sheets and solicit suggestions. I do believe this is an underrated taproom. I didn’t see that German food cart outside...wish I had!
Some decent beers, a good selection of 12 to 15 always on. There was a guy driving a small moving tractor who knocked over the big garbage can, so staff enjoys their product. The lady servers were on top of it. Clients were getting, like fairly well inebriated, likely from choosing the entire selection.
Not so easy to find location in industrial area of Orlando. Lot parking. Building is clean and orderly with brewing in the back left. Seating at a small bar on the left and tables on the right. Bar has taps in the middle with cooler on the right for six pack carry-out. Staff is freindly with good beer knowledge. Good location and large beer sample selections of average to above average brews. Well worth the stop.
OBP is in a scary industrial part of town, however, please dont let it scare you, its worth the trip. 21 taps of their beers, plus 3 guest taps (Lindemans Framboise, Big Foot and Chimay Triple). No food but chips are availble, free parking and wifi, a huge US flag in a corner. Friendly service, with sampler for 6$ (4 X 4on). Good place. seem to amke very good IPAs, which I like!
stopped by with ibrew2or3.
Nice quiet place in the middle of industrial area.
Pretty quiet when we got there Sunday afternoon.
Sampled the 16 beers they had on tap, so that’s no complain. Sampler tray @ $11 for 11 beers which is a great deal.
Good service, no food and a list of local place that deliver, with just pretzels and some rock music in the background.
Had a good time there. A good place to stop by and sample some of Orlando’s beers. They are also keen about getting your feedback which is always a good point.
Nice little place tucked away in a grungy dirty industrial area. The longish bar made for a great place to rest and enjoy their line up of house brews. There was no really food available but they supply a small booklet showing the menus of nearby places that I’m assuming will deliver. I couldn’t decide on a delivery meal so made due with the small pretzel crackers they offered. The help staff behind the bar was very friendly and helpful which is in stark contrast to everything I’ve heard about the brewer/owner types that run this place. There were a couple of tasty offerings but on the whole there’s nothing more than thin watery cookie cutter brews pretty much on par with the status quo for most FL brewed beer.
