Well, the music is rather loud here, so conversations are not that easy or pleasant. The beer needs some work, as most seemed under attenuated and fermented hot. Carbonation seemed to also be an issue with the beers. The staff was friendly and helpful as well as willing to discuss the beers.

Small place near a bunch of other breweries. Beers were mostly below average. They sell flights here. Prices ok, service ok. Not a standout in a sea of choice.

Located within the RiNo neighbourhood close to countless other breweries, this place sort of feel in the middle of the pack. About a dozen beers on tap when we visited, available for order in flights or single tasters. Beer was competent, though nothing really stood out. Fun place to hang out, but not one of the top spots in the area.

Small taproom with big corralled outdoor space, a block plus off Blake St. Somewhere between 12 and 15 taps pouring, and they weren’t too bad. Super crowded on a Saturday afternoon. I think there was a food truck. Not enough bathroom facilities for the number of people that were there. Yes, employees are very friendly but very strange. Yes, many people are smoking herbs here. Shrug. Decent enough, but I wouldn’t go again if I saw so many people--not that great, and so many other options. Will always recall AWISLGUY’s memorable lens story

Smallish low-key taproom with a lively local vibe, friendly staff and 10 beers on tap.

Walked here from Ratio. Like an old libarary inside - very hipster. Dark and a bit dim inside, with some light pouring through frosted windows. Staff was strange, but polite and nice. Hipster clientele (watch out Travlr). Beers were tasty.

Walking up the street the brewery was unmistakable with a mural of two psychedelic rainbow colored people reaching over the doorway to join hand. The interior had high ceilings and a definite local bar/brewery vibe. The bartenders/staff were friendly and knew their brews giving me a nice rundown on them and once I let my interest be known I got shown the brewery in back and had a nice chat with them and customers about the Denver scene. A really chill experience, I loved the vibe here and the solid brews with a good amount of variety were icing on the cake.

Visited here first night of the GABF after Falling Rock...on the recommendation of one of the managers there. I’m glad we took his advice. It was a warm night and sitting outside was perfect. What’s more...one of the owners was playing guitar outside to no one in particular...so we stepped in for no one. It wasn’t crowded because the evening session of the GABF hadn’t let out yet and most everyone else seemed to be at the Falling Rock...lucky for us. Awhile later another owner sat down and talked to us for a bit. He ended up giving my friend and I a couple of bottles of their beer...one of which was a very cool blueberry. Beers that night included 4 GABF entries...the PR3 Brett Saison, the American Wild Ale, the 24FPS Golden Sour, and a beer that ended up winning a medal...the Cherry Gose Salty Sour. I’m surprised the reviews are so low...maybe we just hit it right that night...or maybe Coloradans are getting jaded with all the great beer they are surrounded with. Either way...I definitely recommend a visit here when in Denver.

Visited: 9/26/15...Ambiance comes off as a total hipster joint...pun intended. It was the only place in Colorado that I visited this weekend that everyone was burning at. The had a U shaped bar that can seat about a dozen people, some long stand up tables and a decent sized patio. The place is alright, nothing out of the ordinary. Service was okay, the bartenders were friendly and somewhat attentive. The selection was alright, they had several sours on tap plus your normal array of styles. They were celebrating big when they took a medal at GABF for their Gose, which was alright. The value of the place isnt ou of hand, about par for the area. Overall, I would visit again because they keep late hours but not something you would totally seek out first.

RiNo location in a single story stucco building. The design is comfortable and seems like garage brewery run by audiophile book collectors, if that makes sense. The Brown Ale was okay (3.4) and the Saison quite poor (2.5). I did the ambiance and I’d probably drop in regularly if I were in the neighborhood and the beer proved consistently good. For now, it’s probably worth a re-try every year or so to see if quality has improved.

(Visited 06/2014): Our Mutual Friend is located north of Downtown on Larimer Street between 28th and 29th. Not too far of a walk from Epic. Street parking is available in the vicinity.

The outside of the building is pretty nondescript, with an off white color and brown door that has their logo on it. Inside, the walls are different gray tones with a wood-topped bar in the rear. Hanging strings of light from the ceiling, and behind the bar is a book shelf with different knickknacks, glassware and the taps in the center and a small board above them listing the beers. There is a patio out back.

The tap room only had 3 beers available on my visit, 2 Brown Ales and a Blonde Ale. The beers were pretty average. There are also a couple bottled beers available.

Service on a quiet weekday evening at the bar was good. The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly.

OMF does not serve food but a food truck was stationed outside.

Overall the lack of variety and quality are knocks against this place but the chill setting and staff make up for it somewhat.
