Visited early evening on a Wednesday. Located in a beat down strip mall that appears to be 85% dead, tucked in a corner and looks like a gritty dive bar from the outside. Fortunately, the interior is quite nice and inviting, well decorated with plenty of space. A bit worn perhaps, but nice character. Beer selection is two house beers (which aren’t brewed in house) and 28 guest drafts. The guest drafts offer a nice range of styles though nothing really local or hard to find. Bottle selection is in coolers that you can peruse immediately across from the bar. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Food looked decent, though I didn’t eat here. Interesting place, seems like a top beer spot 7-8 years ago that has been passed by.
70 = ★★½ (Locals should check it out, visitors with extended time)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
A bit of an unfortunate mall location, but all is forgiven when you step inside to be greeted by a large monk statue. Kinda dark overall, but a nice space nonetheless, with cool decorations. Interesting food menu with reasonable prices. Salads were pretty huge. Beer list is nice, don’t expect whales on the board, but a good selection of locals and regionals. Then add in the beer coolers; again no whales to be seen, but a pretty nice selection if you have a hankering for things like Founders. Service was really good. I tried their Coconut Joe which drank like a "Last Snow Light" (which is a good thing). This place I would be a regular at, methinks.
Went in September 2014. Not very busy at all when we went, easy to get a table. Good beer and a good place to come through if you want a casual night of drinking or before you head out for a night. Recommended visiting if you get a chance, but if it’s very far away don’t worry too much about it. Really wonderful bottle selection and the staff was so helpful and knew a lot about the beers. Overall I recommend the place for a good relaxed beer drinking experience.
I tried their old ale alongside a Founders Old Curmudgeon and came away impressed. I just wish that the pizza was as good, but it wasn’t. Even though I enjoy dive bars, the interior was a bit too dark for my taste.
Went here on a friday night - it was pretty poppin’. The ambiance was very cool, lots of room and a friendly brewpub atmosphere. The service was very good, and quick. The selection was top-notch, both in taps & bottles. The value was decent, bottles in particular are affordable. I really enjoyed this place, and am definitely going back.
Much more of a bar than a brewpub (only 2 "house beers" on tap). No brewing equipment on site. Very large space. Service was decent but uninvolved. Parking was easy. Food was pub grub and decent. To-go bottle selection was good as was the tap list.

Great bottle selection, and the best tap selection in AZ usually.
A dive bar without the cool character. Big tap list with lots of bottles. Good service and we didn’t eat. For me the problem is the dark dive like ambiance. There are too many good places in the area now,
