Stopped in on a Friday afternoon. Very friendly and knowledgeable bartender. Nice ambiance for a brewery- long bar with free pretzels and mustard. Looks out over the production floor. Tried the sampler- I believe it was eight two ounce pours for $7. Good value as the beers were all good, especially the coffee porter and the fruit beer (raspberries?). Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Cool taproom at the brewery. 8 taps, flights of all for 5 bucks - great value! Beers are decent. Cooler with 6-packs and singles. Good service.

I remember going to the original brewpub when it really was on Pearl Street. It was a bit of a surprise seeing how much they have upsized in the past 15 years or so. The taproom has somewhat unusual hours, and is apparently prone to closing for events, so it is wise to call ahead. The ambiance is pretty basic, but it is kind of neat to see the tables and chairs crafted from the old wood slat flooring of the building, and large plexiglass windows look right out into the brewing operation. They run 8 taps typically, plus possibly one more for a seasonal, and serve a tasting flight of 2 oz pours of all their beers for $5. The place gets crowded on a Saturday afternoon, mostly with locals and regulars who like PSB and want to get it fresh. Service is a bit of an issue; friendly enough but they have only one person working the bar no matter how busy they are. No food unless you count pretzels and mustard.

Was a bit difficult to find being located in an old shoe factory. Ambiance was decent for being located where it was - high ceilings, nice bar area with other more lounge-like seating. Service was good at the bar - friendly bartender. Even though they do not serve food per se, they did have ample pretzels available with a nice tangy mustard dip - nice touch. They had their normal annual brews available along with several other seasonals and specialties. Value was good - $2.50 per pint and a set of 8-10 flites was only $5. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the LaCrosse area.
