Great selection. If they don’t have what you are looking for just ask for Dan the beer man and he will do his best to get it for you. Kegs too. Lots of fun chilling out in the beer cave this hot summer.
I have been going to petes as I like to call it for years. They have a HUGE selection of beers, and at great prices. I have got alot of friends hooked on this place. The staff is great, you really can’t go wrong with this place!

Great selection of beer, singles, six packs. Competitive prices. Very clean and elegant with a great selection of wine and cheeses. Nice staff but a lack of beer knowledge.
I visited because of ToggleEyess posting on RateBeer. I was impressed by the brews available at $1.69. I filled a couple of 6-packs with Stoudts Double IPA, Spaten Optimator, Sierra Nevada Big Foot, Bells Rye Stout, Bells Consecrator, Victory Hop Devil, etc. Receipt showed details of each beer for a nice check list. All cold. Ill return!
3/10/10 rerate: They now offer a 10% discount on mixed cases. Beer selection has been greatly expanded. Two Hearted Ale is $8.99 everyday, the cheapest price in the area.
5/19/14 rerate: New smaller store is a bit more crowded. Everything available as singles.
Very good selection and a very friendly staff. Good selection of chilled singles and other beers that I could not find elsewhere in Grand Rapids area. They were have a beer sale with everything 20% off. Needless to say, I stocked up very a large number of very good beers.
This is a gourmet food store, that also has a really nice selection of beers. They really hit the local breweries hard and heavy. A fair amount of German, British Isles, and Belgian too.
You need to keep coming, back too, as the variety changes often. I’ve bought things there, and when I came back it was no longer available, and its place on the shelf was filled with something else. Very nice BYO6 pack area and a walk-in cooler too.
Great selection of beers. Some great Asian beers too as well as all the local favorites. The staff did a great job of recommending new beers based on past favorites. Is it expensive? Not sure but I enjoyed the variety!

Solid selection and mix of local microbrews, imports, singles and six packs. This place is definetely a store first, but whoever orders the beer knows what’s going on in the beer world. Prices better than some others in the GR area.
