Small but with the perfect atmosphere, from the colors to the music, and the people; I even have my private spot for the car (disclaimer: I’m not associated to the bar). The selection really improved too in the last year: more taps, and many more bottles; there are a few Swiss micros (Trois Dames, Brasserie de la Côte, BFM...), and then beers from the good countries (a lot of special De Molen, Brewdog, Mikkeller, Evil Twin…); there is the Westvleteren XII, many Belgians and a few good Americans (always Hoppin’ Frog). Bottles are available to go too, with a reduction (and soon there will be an online shop). I would like a place like this anywhere I will live!
A small beer bar somewhere on the steep hills in Lausanne. Visited on a late Friday evening in Summer 2016. The place was crowded but not crammed, so we found a table to sit, but I was not jealous of the one bartender giving out the beers. The wait was worth it though, as the tap list is nice and 1dl is available for most taps . The bottle selection is decent too, but there is no take-out option: You can take a bottle with you, but they’ll have to open it for legal reasons. Prices are very good for Switzerland. Definitely a place to visit again once I have a bit more time on my hands!
Amazing beer place. Great ambiance, service and mainly beer selection. Not only for European beers but also American ones. Excellent tap selection too. Recently, the owner has prepared events where the brewers of several excellent quality European breweries are invited to ¨present¨ their brews. A place to beer in Switzerland.
It is a nice place in Lausanne. I have to say that we don’t have a lot of nice places to Lausanne and it is a place different, of course that you have some "bobo" but the choice of beer is great and the staff is friendly, good music. The only thing is that you have to arrive early, because the bar is small and few places.
Probably the best place to go, when in Lausanne. A little, but very steep, walk outside the city centre. Nice cosy interior with a good (at the bar) service. Selection is impressive with lots of Belgian stuff (BBP, Boon...), but also US (even Crooked Stave etc.) Prices are expensive, but acceptable conform the Swiss standards. Overall recommended when in beer desert Lausanne.
