Nice place in the basement area of a shopping center. Sadly, I went down there a couple days after Thanksgiving and there was crappy Christmas music on. It was the joke of the waitstaff and I had some good laughs while waiting for Andrè. Had the food. BBQ Chicken pizza. It was.. eh, ok. Not the hugest fan of BBQ sauce though I had no problem eating it. The beers were as stated before, fair.
Sat in the "museum section" which had awesome Seattle/pike/brewing memorabilia, beer selection was solid, lady serving me was hardly friendly, but seemed more than happy dealing with the crew next to me? She dropped the rating a fair bit, but was still worth going to*
Hmm yeah funny place this - Pike Place itself is of course kind of touristy and this spot has turned into a bit of a touristy cliché of what a brewpub should look like - so it’s kind of stuck in a bit of a timewarp with crap all over the walls and some faux English pub wooden stuff. The beers I had were pretty good though and there was a decent selection (not just 15 different pale ales!) and prices not out of whack. Didn’t eat, it looked decent but maybe a tad pricey.
Visited here in mid August ’16 while in town for vacation. Funky, multi-tiered, multi-roomed pub with loads of old beer memorabilia hanging everywhere. Have a large selection of their beers on tap, all of their regulars with a few one-offs and seasonals. Good place to stop in while perusing the Pike Place Market.
