This is a fun little restaurant close to Henrik, which is a nice combo. Very casual and unpretentious. Plenty of tourists come here for the "authentic" Norwegian home cookin all the guide books rave about. Food was surprisingly expensive for such a casual place. Busy but not packed on a Friday night, does not take reservations so come early and have a beer while you wait for a table. Good variety on tap, mostly lighter styles that go well with food. Not a place to come to for the beer alone, but a great place for dinner accompanied by nice beer. Our waiter/bartender was very helpful and service-minded.
Ahh! I sank into an old fashioned, comfy armchair with a craft beer in my hand. Life wasn’t bad at all in spite of the heavy rain outside. Great food and great beer. Knowledgeable staff and a pleasant mix of locals, students and tourists. Family friendly at daytime. (Visited September 14th 2013)
A friendly haven in Bergen centre.
Had my traditional breakfast here, served until 16:00.....
Nice selection of Norwegian micros.
Woman behind the counter knew the beers realy well, and were interested in telling about them. Nice place close to Naboen.
A very nice little pub with a good selection of local and imported beers, including Nøgne Ø. Norwegian prices but worth checking out. This was the bar we spent most of our time in, nice selection and atmosphere. Hearty local food too.
Quite a busy small place, mostly youngsters although my age is represented as well. Friendly service and knowledge too. Had some nice beers and a local Norwegian dish. Bit noisy for conversation, but it is OK.

Really cozy place with a good selection of beers, the food is pretty mediocre and way to expensive. The popcorn is nice though.
A very cozy place with an OK selection of both Norwegian and foreign craft beer. Prices are reasonable.
Traditional Norwegian dishes served, also at good prices.
Absolutely a place worth a visit when in Bergen.
New hip bar/restaurant, popular with students and 20-somethings. Serves real, traditional Norwegian food, of the sort your grandmother might serve, but of a higher standard. Excellent selection of beer, with just a couple of lagers. Has microbrew from Nøgne Ø, Atna, and Haandbryggeriet, probably 6-8 beers. Also a good selection of foreign beer, Belgian, German, US, UK.
