The smallest of four Pivnica Medvedgrad pubs in Zagrebís main pub/caffe bar street. Recently they opened and upper floor, so thereís more space now. Large bar, on weekends (mostly Saturday) live music and schnaps party. Usual Medvedgrad beer and food selection. All in all ok place.
This venue started as a small venue in one of the cityís busiest streets when it comes to bars. Some time ago theyíve started expanding and now they are one of the biggest bars in the street. Patio is large but looks generic and not pleasant at all.
Service is not that bad when it comes to speed but they donít seem to know a thing about stuff they are serving. Also on one occasion I got different side dish with explanation side Iíve ordered was gone (both were potato side orders so one has to ask himself what is going on in that kitchen). They didnít even bother to ask me if itís OK with me. Anyway the food was quite bad and as far as Iím concerned Iím done with eating there.
They serve standard set of Medvedgrad beers. Which would be more than good for Zagreb if they were in good condition. Unfortunately last time 3 out of 4 beers were not good, and Dva Klasa had a heavy rotten egg smell.
Value is good as in other Medvedgrad pubs especially considering the location.
Itís a shame that a pub at such great location and with lot of potential lacks effort, imagination and sets the quality bar so low. They could do much better and hope theyíll improve over the time.
It is nice pub in beautiful street near city center. They offer all Medvedgrad beers, with seasonals. Staff is nice and prices are reasonable. I havenít tried food, but if it is same like other Medvedgrad restaurants then it has to be good.
Located on the main pedestrian street just up from the main square. The street is lined with bars. We got the last table available outside and watched folk walk up and down. Service was quite slow. They just had Medvedgrad core range of beers available.
