Visited for the first time lateish evening of August 4, 2017. Started with their sample plate of 5 beers, then sampled another 3 you could buy by the glass. I think the 8 we sampled this evening was the ones available. IT seemed like the 5 you get to try on the sample plate/flight/paddle are the ones they decide, the rest you need to get by the glass if you want to try them. Some English spoken by some staff. Quite a few tables inside, we opted to sit outside though. Walkable from metro stop Ceskomoravská, though having google maps on the phone helps a bit. You get the feeling not too many tourists find their way over here. Charming, but also a feeling of being left out, like the locals find you mainly amusing but really not for you to go. Decent amount of people here drinking beer, also some eating. Beers were all decent, some good. Walked back to tram stop Balabenka, realized an old metal place were just there from my memory, so if you feel like a very shade underground type metal bar that only serve Gambrinus, and they still allow smoking inside, google Rock Pub Error on your way home. Perhaps not a place to venture just because, there are better and more easily located brewpubs around town.

Spacious brewpub just a short walk from the Palmovka metro station (easily combined with a visit to NaPalme and U Bulovky Richter). The beer garden was packed on a rather mild summer afternoon, so I sat inside which gradually filled up as well. Some English spoken, otherwise sign language and pointing were no problem. The beers (I counted 8 on tap) are mostly fantastic (traditional styles and ales alike), with a very distinct and appealing herbal / wholegrain / candle wax house character. Spent half the time prodding one of the other patron’s dogs away from my pork knee. Good fun!
Nice and clean neighbourhood-pub in Libeň, the ambiance is - though quite new - a bit nostalgic and reminds You of the 1930’s; pleasant beer-garden in a courtyard, that separates the pub from the small brewery ; their beers were quite good, fortunately variations of traditional czech styles, but also many ales are offered from time to time (their beer-menu lists nearly 20 brews, most of them not always available);friendly service, speaking fluently czech... Worth the little journey by all means! (Visited 8/2016)

Nice restuarant / brewpub in the suburbs of Prague, but either a short tram (line 10) ride from the Zizkov area or metro from the center of town, both to Palmovka. A short walk to the brewpub (take note that you will be passing the nice bar NaPalme on the way) wich is located in a residental area under the railway and motorway. Inside its a classic Czech restuarant, load of seating, dark wood, a fireplace and a nice beergarden in the back. At my visit a late saturday afternoon, most seats where allready taken or was reservated for dinner. Got myself a place by the bar, 7 beers on tap, 5 of these sold as a sampler set, the last 2 you have to buy a glass of. Good quality of the beers. Service was friendly, but with a limited english. Good prices.
This is a neibourhoud brewpub that you do not just stumble upon. It is located in a living area with as fare as I could see no shops around. I counted 7 tap lines. View into the brewery. They had a nice beergarden. Total a nice and good place, low mixed music, the service was good but they did not speak english. This is a place worth the trip. Visited 06.10.2015 together with Bryne.
This is not a brewpub you just stumble upon. No tourists stroll around in these parts of Liben. And why should they? Well, there is one good reason: Pivovar Kolcavka! Easy to find too. Take Metro B to Palmovka, follow Na Zertvach, under the railway and highway and turn left . You’ll see a yellow building when you walk along the sidewalk. When you enter, a cooridor leads to the court yard and a spacious beer garden. It was raining so we sat inside. Nice brewpub, friendly service though little English spoken. We started with a taster, 5x10 cl. A great offer which is not common in all brewpubs in Praha. We also had a big glass Cerna 13, their best beer. The pub was more like a lunch restaurant when we visited at noon. Lots of locals came for lunch, it was rather busy but still a pleasant atmosphere. Recommended! When we left the sun was shining and we headed back to Palmovka and the tram to U Bulovky Richter Pub. (Visited October 6th 2015 with Nilsas)
