Visited in November 2017. Small micro serving their own beers only. Fine decorations. Heavy wood interior. Too loud music. There is a brightly polished brew kettle and stainless steel brewing equioment that seem mostly decorative.
Picturesque small Russian brewpub that dissimulate Czech. Yeah, Marko has good point: they are trying to be as Czech as possible, but as Czech I see diferences, much colder staff for example (but very helpful and good Czech speaking - that is unusual in Russian pubs around Prague). Nice interior, two own beers a bit above average, good prices... so yes, if you are near of Žižkov area, worth to visit.
A cute looking little brewpub, apparently with a brewing museum, that carries a random Russian vibe as well while trying to be as Czech as possible. Cute decoration really, music that kinda goes with the vibe. Honestly, would've been low priority if not for its proximity to our apartment, but I'm glad we visited. Solid service, not overtly friendly but pretty much efficient and helpful. 3 beers when we visited - surprisingly nice Svetle and Rauchbier, infected, sour Cerne that should not have been served. Didn't try the food. Definitely do pop in if you're in the area for a beer or three - when in form, these are definitely above average. Just don't expect wonders. Wi-fi's there and it works, smoking isn't allowed anymore. And that museum part might be cool to visit.
Kind of a cool place, small bar, 3 taps of their own brew. Small (0,3) was 37,- u could also order up to 1.5L but that’s not for me. They have wifi but it did work well for me, it threw me out every other minute. Solid food menu to order from but I dident.
A little out the way but we were visiting Jijkov and the massive monument. 3 beers available. Decent soup though I’m sure it was supposed to be served in a bread bowl. Surprisingly slow service for being the only customers most of the time we were there.
Not too far from Pivovarsky Klub. Impressive menu, except for the fish, which they don’t get every day, naturally. Quality and freshness is important. At 16.30 on a sunday it wasn’t crowded.
Chicken w cheesy sauce was good. Glenn Miller-like music in the background. One hen smoked at next table. Fruity good beer. Staff speaks some english.
Last time i visited this place in the ground floor of hotel Victor the where serving Chyne beers wich wasnt in very good condition, service was a little grumpy. This time around was a better experience. Place pretty much looked the same, some heavy dark tables, benches and chairs. bar to the left and brewing equipment placed in the far right corner. They brew theyre own beer now, wich is nice. 4 beers listed, but 2 of them where out. Nice service, allthough very limited english. Didnt eat, but food looked good. Smoking allowed, but wasnt to bad, good prices. Since this is very close to U Slovanske Lipy, ill proberly come back next time in Prague.
Visited just after opening, Monday May 25, 2015. Got there shortly after 12:00 just when they opened the door. We had booked and confirmed a brewery tour, but the guy at the bar seemed very flustered about this fact. Some story about the lady being in the hospital. Later wanted to see our booking confirmation, even though he wasn’t going to give a tour, was all very strange. Did have lunch here as planned, had a schnitzel, believe it was the chicken version, with fries. Food was good. Sampled the three beers from tap, which were all OK to good, no problems with them. The man at the bar seemed not overly happy to have ut there, not sure if it was that we got off with a bad start that they couldn’t do a tour, or something else, but we weren’t very welcome, at least that was the feeling we got at this visit. Unless you go by bus a bit of a hike downhill from the tram lines, and of course quite the climb back. I’d say Husinecka would be the closest tram stop, especiella when coming from the city and not Zizkov. Rather small place, nice to see the tiny brew equipment on display. Had one or two ladies by a computer chain smoking in the one corner for the duration of our visit. Perhaps a 5 min walk from U Slovanské Lípy. Low overall score points solely to the fact that we were not treated well or made to feel that we were welcome. Hope to visit again just to give them one more chance, especially since others here on RB seems to have had a lot better service than we did.
