This, at some 15 minutes’ walk, was the closest proper beer store from our hotel (though, admittedly, the Alkohole 24 next door served its purpose more than well, but let’s not count that as such, shall we). So yeah, this is very, VERY far from the center and it’s unlikely that you will want or be able to visit it if you’re a tourist. Unless you stay at Optima or something. Anyway, the place is ugly by all means, a warehouse with some shelves stacked with beers, beer crates around the entrance and inside, but once you see what they have, you won’t care. The guy behind the counter was friendly and seemed very much competent, not perfect English, but enough to get by. Non-Slavic people might struggle, but who knows. Might. They were advertising the craft beer festival this week, which is also quite cool. The selection is very good indeed. Mostly Polish craft, but also some German and Czech and others. The prices were indeed reasonable. Very much worth visiting if you happen to be nearby.
Good selection of craft beers from Poland, European countries and USA. I was fancy to buy especially polish craft beers and choice was OK, but nothing special. Service very good. Prices reasonable. Generally speaking, place worth to visit and buy a few good beers.
