Paradisos pizza is as good as ever with a wide-ranging menu of extras with which to build a custom pizza if desired, and at a reasonable price. While long ago the beer list here was among the very best in the area, it seems to have been surpassed in recent years most notably by the NRG establishments. The tap menu is now comprised mostly of second and third tier options, granted that many of these are highly unusual domestic or imported beers in comparison to what is available elsewhere. Worth the stop for the pizza alone; the advantage of this location is that there will be fewer tourists and fewer tired families of shoppers than the Georgetown spot.
I went here for the first time in November 2016, and I will be back. The bartender April was outstanding and one of the reasons Iíll be coming back. The tap list was incredible and if you can get there for Happy Hour during the weekdays it is one of the best deals in all of DC. Definitely hit this spot. I know there is another location in Georgetown but I cannot speak to that location, just this one.
My second visit to this place. First time I happened to show up on a day with several special Oscar Blues selections, which was cool. Today, well, not so much. Ok selection, but only about 10 taps on. Expensive. Really good pizza. Impressive bottle list, especially if you have recently won Power Ball. Glad to go again (especially since I didnít review it before), but Iíll seek out a new place next time.

On the street parking if you drove. This is a cozy place. L-shaped bar as soon as you walk in and some seating. I didít see any bottles I wanted to try on the bottle menu, so I had a draft. Place was busy and service was average. There website does a good job of keeping up with what they have. Pricing is expensive. I would come back if I saw something I wanted to try.
Lovely pizzas, lots of good beers, what more can you ask for? Well, we went there on a hot and humid day, so a bit more efficient AC would do good, but overall this is sure a place worth visiting. The service werenít the best in town, but quite quick and efficient so really nothing to complain about there either.
Great spot. Met up with Travlr and GenDV138 for pizza and beer (duh). Everything is done well here. Interesting beers on tap, cask and an extensive bottle list. Service from the bartender was excellent. The pizza was freshly made and the flavours reflected that. It is a tight space here so try and nab a seat at the bar during after work hours.
2015-03-04. The decor is bright and cheery, with lots of tile and a Mediterranean feel that could feel kitschy if it wasnít so earnest. It was about half full when we arrived for a late lunch. Service was friendly and efficient, we didnít really test their beer knowledge. Mabel and I shared a large pizza which was about the right about of food for me. The pizza was very good, though the toppings impressed me more than the crust. (That said the crust was not overly burnt/crispy like another "authentic" pizza place I went to in Toronto recently.) The tap list had a decent variety of styles available. We ordered a flight of 4 beers, only one of which I had even heard of before and all were decent. Pricing was "DC reasonable" - e.g. not cheap but not outrageous for draft. The bottle list was impressive but unlike the draft list the most interesting bottles felt a bit overpriced at $25-40. We might have opted for some bottles if we had other beer geeks with us sharing but we were there with our non-beer drinking family and decided to stick with the draft options. Overall I enjoyed it and itís definitely worth a visit with good food and good beer but Iím not sure I would make it a priority as an out of town visitor if you donít plan to eat.
rather big place with a bar on the right side, and a dining area on the left and in the back . Service was very friendly, but sometimes a bit too much ( as in pushy , wanting to speed things up too much ) . They were capable of serving me the bottled beer perfectly , a basic thing iím missing in most beerplaces , but to find it in a pizzeria is pretty darn cool . Prices are ok , to the high side but nothing extreme . Food was amazing . Unbelievable good pizza . Might not be the best beerplace in town, but food-wise this is a MUST visit to me . Beermenu was nice , but again nothing extreme . Youll find way more than youíre used to in a pizzeria though , with many great craftbeers .
