Smallish brewery in a bit of an aged building with a decent sized bar and a good amount of tables around. Service was good but not particularly beer oriented. They had around 15 beers on tap and samplers were available. No food on site. Prices were inline with the area. An ok spot for the area.
Visited on a Thursday evening in February 2017. This was a rather dark and small place with a very friendly service. Around 15 beers on tap. Located 1 minute from Fall Brewing. I kind of liked this relaxed place.
Visited on 12th November 2014. A proper dive bar at the top end of 30th St. It’s dark and dingy but had 7 beers on tap which were available in tasters for a grand total of $11. Beer was decent enough, service was friendly.
Not the best place we tried in San Diego but good value ticks.
Little hole in the wall place. Tried two beers, one pretty good (little mosaic) one not so much. Out of many of the beers listed. Prices were a touch high, but hey, it’s CA. Friendly service and prison tier shitters.
We came here on 17.2.2016 after visting the great Fall brewey. This is a much smaller brew pub. The name should indicate already that this brewery is making beer based on a much lower budget than their peers. The brewhouse is much smaller than the average one and the malt is stored next to the pool billiard tables. The bar was empty when we came on a Wednesday around 6 pm and the music was bad, did not fit with the overall flair of the place. They should play Punk or Ska instead. Beers were quite good. Seems they brew a beer using 30 different hops once a year referring to the 30th street. Overall an ’ok’ brew pub, with very decent beers.
Another of my 30th St. crawl stops. This brewery strikes me more as a tavern than a brewpub, which is nice. Dark interior, open windows, letting the warm breeze drift through. A bit punk rock themed. Friendly enough barkeep. A pretty lengthy lineup kept me interested through the flight and a pint. Good brews but nothing extraordinary. Still, fun brews, nice atmosphere, good service. I’d come back.
Nice kinda different place. Dog friendly place and you can see that inside. There are dogs pretty much everywhere. Beers were average, service was good. Worth a visit, really close to Fall a brewing in a North Park.

They had a flight of their specialty beers like raspberry stout, coconut stout, peanut butter brown. These were $2 for 2oz micro pours into miniaturized mason jars. Very strange, but interesting. The regular beers on tap came in normal tasting cylinders and were larger pours for less money I think. The beers were overall ok to below average with one beer that was very bad/medicinal (Raspberry Stout) and one that was quite good all around (Little Mosaic). They had an 18% abv fireball candy amber ale that was not bad, but I suspect 18% is an exaggeration. Overall, it is a fun stop while you beer hop your way through the 30th St corridor.
