Wow, what can I say? James and Susan (and partners) have put together a great place to have a craft beer. I love the comfy couch seating and modern like living room feel. James and Susan are always seeking out new tap craft offerings, hosting beer events and going above and beyond to make the beer geek feel happy and most welcome. Keep it up. I have enjoyed every visit and look forward to the next.
Stopped in with Wilkes the Sunday after Hunahpu when it was mostly empty. Has a nice long bar area and felt like a big space - but imagine it’s a far different experience with crowds at night. The tap list was pretty exciting for me as I hadn’t been in Florida for a while - got several new 7venth Sun and Cycle ticks.
Great bar, with the best selection of amazing and hard to get local beers (ccb, dunedin, 7th, etc..). If you enjoy beer, you will be happy here. That being said, location sucks, if you don't live here its a pain to get to and there is a strange crowd sometimes. One time I had to help remove guy who came in screaming about getting shots and then passed out on the bar ha. I recommend this place if you can get over here.
Great prices and a GREAT beer selection. Even the bottles were reasonably priced. If you are with wine drinkers they have a great wine selection too. The staff is all knowledgable and friendly. Located in downtown Tampa it is one of the only beer bars. Plenty of retraunts close by and they have a menu book if you want something delivered. Around 30 beers on tap (no Macros). A++
Great addition to the Tampa Bay beer scene. Knowledgeable staff, good selection of beers, proper glassware and nice bottle selection. They have bathroom tile behind the taps that looks rather strange, its hard to just glance up and figure out whats on tap. There are menus that float around the bar sometimes there hard to find however.
