(Visited July 2014) Restaurant and beer hall in a back garden not far from U-bahn station Eberswalder Strasse. There’s a large beer garden outside, which look quite cosy. It was raining, however, so I chose the interior. It’s quite a large beer hall and restaurant, mainly in brown and white, with brown wooden tables and chairs. Service was efficient and friendly. Mainly inhabited by families and locals on my visit. Beer selection is not too impressive, but there are two beers brewed for the place by Berliner Kindl Schultheiss, a lager and a schwarz, both quite decent. Food was good and came in generous portions. Worth a visit for the food and the two ticks.
Large biergarten in Kastanienallee. Pleasant place mostly in the shadow of large trees. The selection is not much to speak of but both Prater beers were decent enough. Worth a visit if one happens to be in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get here.
Huge beer garden with lots of tables. I imagine the atmosphere is amazing on a warm summer day. Unfortunately I visited on a cool October evening, so there weren’t many patrons at the time. Still a nice relaxing ambiance. Only a few beers available with 2 being Prater beers. Prices were average. A nice place to visit for the atmosphere but not the beer.

Nice to hang out with friends. They have some brews of their own.
Great place to sit and enjoy the weather. Good ambiance. We also have dinner in the restaurant, we head a very nice wiener schnitzel. Best one a had in Berlin! Crowded but gemutlich! Can recommend the place!
