Just looking at this place, I would not assume much as far as quality of beer. Itís very much a large restaurant with atmosphere typical of a chain. However, I was quite impressed with the breadth of styles and how good the beer was. The bartender was so friendly and efficient. I ordered some chicken wings which were great. They have an impressive guest bottle list too. Beer specials are constant here and their growler prices are super cheap.

Great atmosphere (renovated firehouse with a firefighter theme, naturally) ... brick, exposed I-beams, shiny vessels, high ceilings, etc. Great service, awesome food, and pretty decent beer make it one nice package. They even have a heated outdoor patio (so you can sit outside in 30 degrees with just a t-shirt on). One of my favorite places to eat in Boulder County.

This renovated firehouse has very good service, great food and a pretty decent selection of beers. When I'm in Longmont on business, I usually eat there.
Visited for dinner on a Thursday night. The building was pretty big and right on the main street in Longmont. We had a group of five of us, but we were seated outside almost immediately. The service was very good, as the waitress was very friendly. The food was extremely good (I had a huge chicken burrito), and the beers were also very tasty. The atmosphere was perfect, as the staff, seating, and weather were all ideal for having a good time. I would definitely stop back if I was nearby.
Lots of different beers on tap, good food (better than pub grub, no doubt about that), and a neat atmosphere make this a fun place to hang out. And now that Longmont establishments are officially smoke-free, like Boulder, it's even better. For me, though, it lacks a "standby" beer that I can always enjoy pint after pint, which is what Mountain Sun offers (Java Porter, as long is it isn't nitro poured).
Been a few times and I have to say the service and food are fantastic! The beers are pretty solid too. Had a Wheat and a Milk stout that were both pretty bad ass! People who rate this place often get it confused with the place next door (red zone) which is the same place, but a separate entity, focused as being a sports bar. If you sit in the brewery restaurant, you will get top service and better food! The burgers are some of the best around and there are often way more beers available than on the menu. The only negative I would gibe this place was the bitchy red head on the door.... She seemed very reluctant to sit my family in a booth as we requested... I assume she is the same red head on the latest negative Yelp review? Anyway aside from her, the place is dynamite!
Nice open, airy bar area with polished stainless fermenters visable above the bar. The bartender was quite friendly and offered plenty of samples. The beer selection was excellent with 5 regulars and 5 specials. The food was very tasty with a diverse selection. A very enjoyable brewpub!
Awesome place to chill and drink a beer. Its $4 a pint there, so itíll suck money out of you wallet really quickly if youíre not careful. Food was pretty solid, and all of their brews are at least drinkable, if not fantastic. Their imperial stout kicked ass. And you can get a flight of 5 brews for $5 which was awesome.
