Visited with a friend on October 10, 2012. Nice cozy place, spacious. Quite a few beers available. Old firestation rebuild it seems. Parts of the brewery on display by the one end of the bar. Did not eat. Pretty good service.
Visited at opening on a Saturday. The place filled up for mainly dining very quickly. Very friendly bartender. Price for a flight was quite reasonable. Beers were average and above. Did not try any of the food. Located right on main street. Seemed like 6 flagship and 6 seasonal beers of theirs on tap. Nice visit.
Just looking at this place, I would not assume much as far as quality of beer. It’s very much a large restaurant with atmosphere typical of a chain. However, I was quite impressed with the breadth of styles and how good the beer was. The bartender was so friendly and efficient. I ordered some chicken wings which were great. They have an impressive guest bottle list too. Beer specials are constant here and their growler prices are super cheap.
Been a few times and I have to say the service and food are fantastic! The beers are pretty solid too. Had a Wheat and a Milk stout that were both pretty bad ass! People who rate this place often get it confused with the place next door (red zone) which is the same place, but a separate entity, focused as being a sports bar. If you sit in the brewery restaurant, you will get top service and better food! The burgers are some of the best around and there are often way more beers available than on the menu. The only negative I would gibe this place was the bitchy red head on the door.... She seemed very reluctant to sit my family in a booth as we requested... I assume she is the same red head on the latest negative Yelp review? Anyway aside from her, the place is dynamite!
Good place to eat before or after drinking beer at Left Hand.

Large restaurant and prewpub. Several large bars and many booths and tables. Tap list featuring 5 of their standard beers and a few seasonals. Decent bottle list. Quick service at the bar. Did not order food. Decent atmosphere, a bit big, pretty good beer.
This place has two sections. The pumphouse which seems a bit more refined and elegant and the RedZone which is a straight up sports bar. I ate in the RedZone part. It’s a massive room with lots of flat screen tv’s, They actually put signs under the tv’s to tell you what NFL games will be playing on what tv’s. That’s clever. They also have a section in the back with comfortable chairs and a air hockey table. The room is so big it has two bar areas. The only drawback is the volume of the music which is so loud, even on a sparsely populated Sunday night, you had trouble hearing anybody. The beers were all their own, 10 in all, plus a guest tap of Guinness. The beers were solid but none of them outstanding. The burger was excellent. I don’t know if I’d go back for the beer but it seems like a cool place to watch all of the NFL games each Sunday.
