Another must visit place in Barcelona. Beers are overlapping with El Flabiol and La Cervezateca - but they always have something extra not found at the two other places. I think Alex once described this place like a hobit home - deep store with loads of things on the walls. Beer selection is at the very end. Registration of what you’re buying takes places in the area you find what you want, payment is done at the door presenting your bill. Packed with staff.
This might have changed since this was added on Ratebeer, as it’s now a medium sized delicatessen with some wine, booze and 20 beers. They have a huge liquor/wine place just around the corner with a super good whisky selection. But since this is Ratebeer that doesn’t matter. Beer selection is small, though they did have a few interesting bottles. Since some nice places opened up around here the last few years there’s really no need to go here. Didn’t check the prices but since this is a quite fancy place I imagine it’s not cheap.
A cozy and old-fashioned gourmet shop with a rather good selection of Catalonian beers. Many from Ca L’Arenys Guineu, Fortiverd, La Gardenia, Montseny, Cerberus and many more. I needed to fill the refrigerator in my apartment! I payed nearby the beer section and before I left the shop, a woman controlled and stamped my receipt. (Visited July 16th 2013)
