Stopped here today for a few beers on my way downtown. The place itself is typical divey NYC with lots of people at the bar. The draught selection was excellent. There were a half dozen beers on the menu that I couldnít get anywhere else. Their nachos were also good for a mid afternoon snack. Definitely worth a visit.

Decently crowded the Monday evening I went there. Was surprised to have some live jazz but really dug it. The beers were much different than what the website listed so you may want to call ahead. Bartender was friendly and knew some info about the beers I asked for. Pricies seem average for the city. Solid beer joint and will return.

I try to get to Rattle N Hum at least once a week. Always new stuff, always having awesome events, always something interesting that I havenít had before. Prices are relatively reasonable for its NYC location. most pints are $7, and flights are usually around $10. Bartenders all know their stuff, and are pretty and friendly taboot. The events they put on are just outrageous. 40 Kuhnhenn beers in one night? 30 from Cigar City? Oh just your average Tuesday at Rattle. Awesome place. Really the only complaint I have is that it isnít that big and can get get really crowded on weekend nights or at around happy hour time.

Stopped in here last weekend for a couple drinks - didnít eat anything so I canít comment on the food. They had just had a Weyerbacher tap night so there were still some unique offerings on tap. Great bottle list written on the wall in chalk. Prices pretty good. Service good. Bathrooms very clean and big. Great atmosphere with a big bar and tons of craft beer memorabilia. A must stop in NYC.

Went there for some beer and dinner on a quiet sunday night. Beer selection is amazing, including some rare nd aged stuff. Had an í06 Stone IRS. Little bit pricey than most places but worth it considering what you can get here. Food was solid pub grub food. Waitress was very helpful. Quiet night and was able to catch the ice hockey over some awesome beers

Visited on numerous occasions on my last visit to NYC. Itís a dimly-lit craft beer bar with a rock theme, which is chock-full of beer paraphernalia and people! The main draw is the ever-changing range of high quality draft beer from the U.S. It is nice to see the RateBeer overall and style scores on the beer menu to aid your choice. The bottle list is also really impressive (see chalk board at right of bar for updated list) and contains top quality American and world-wide craft beers. The only gripe I have is that I asked for a few bottled beers in a row that were out of stock..... Easily one of the best craft beer bars I have visited in the U.S.

Visited around 5ish on a Tuesday with MaxxDaddy. Place was pretty quiet when we first arrived, but it steadily filled up and got loud and boisterous by the time I left. Beer list was very solid, a bunch of new breweries to me, and really highly thought of beers. Service was attentive, despite the crowd. The mood was really good here, groups of people having a great time drinking great beer. I really liked this place.

88 = ★★★★ (best in area, a must for locals and visitors)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.
