Nearly a copypaste of Slovanske Lipy in more than one way. And that's a good thing! Large white hall with a ton of tables, cute paraphernalia around. Seemingly overworked staff, just on the not-sure-if-mildly-unfriendly-or-language-barrier line. At a point they literally forgot about us, but made up for it at the point. Good selection of beers on tap. More interesting than at U Slovanske Lipy really at that point - with more specials/seasonals and a solid style variation. Most were in good shape, some were very good. The main issue I've had is that the taps apparently changed while we were there, while the beer lists haven't. They were sorta strange about our orders, and in the end, I wouldn't be shocked if we got some that were "close enough". Which would suck majorly honestly. And I can't bring myself to raise the score because of that, but it's a very good place that I would return to.

Huge place! Traditional restaurant, fair prices, about ten taps. Very cool old school bookshelf with glasses behind the bar. Solid WiFi! I didn’t eat but the menu offered traditional food and also beer snacks like meat plates. I love places like this.

Visited on 13th July 2017. Large traditional venue with several large rooms, we didn’t progress past the bar area with the standing area, a wall of glasses, all neatly put away in solid wooden shelves sets the tone for the place. A solid range of local trad beer styles plus a couple of more "crafty" beers. Prices and service were pretty decent. Nice old trad spot and worthy of a look in for the venue as much as the bar

A nice restaurant but a bit slow service. They have a big selection for a check restaurant of beers, but all not that good. Good prices as always in Prague.

Ambience; sunday at 15 it’s hard to assume anything. Classic brown furniture. Looks good. Service excellent, but I was almost alone. Ten cz beers on tap, no degustacna plata, but 30cl possible. Five česke svetle, three apa, one ipa, one tmave. Excellent local schnitzel with potato sallad. I recommend this place. It’s possible to start here any day - opening hours from 11 noon.

Allways been a fan of Slovanske Lipy and this is very much in the same style. Easy reachable with a Tram stop just around the corner (Line 10,16+more) Old school czech restuarant in several smaller and bigger rooms, heavy wooden furniture, hops ranke under the roof. 10 beers on tap, czech micoes listed on boards so they are visible from the seating areas. Good classic czech food, served in generous potions. Fast and friendly service. Really good prices even though its not so far from the city center.

cosy restaurant not far from Karlovo namesti and Pivovarsky Dum. Same owner as U Vodoucha and U Slovanske Lipy. Nicely decorated, typical Czech pub/restaurant with heavy wooden furniture. 10 taps, two occupied with Prazdroj and Budvar, the rest with microbreweries from all around the Czech Republic, including some of the Pivovar Šnajdr beers. Classic homemeade Czech food, not the touristy stuff like pork knuckels and reoasted duck, but country classics and favourites such as potato pancake filled with spicy meat and vegetables, also good utopenci, very tasty pork steaks with delicious coleslaw. Friendly service and good value. All in all, a place I will definitely return to.
