A burger\tex-mex restaurant around city center that makes the prices to increase. Beers from Lobkowicz group (served on 40cl tap) + 1 Matuška available. Average food. Good service. English speaking.

Halfway up Stepanska I turned down Jama, passed 9 and found 7. There are at least three bars close to each other, so be sure that you enter number 7 Jama. Two very nice young ladies at work.
Good egg-sandwich Hangover. 139czk.
Very interesting beer menu with 13 czech pivo. Menu. Much from taps. 30cl 26-35czk. 12 - 13 taps.
I recommend this place for lunch. I found 4 czeske svetly!
Nice and rather big restaurant, very central placed, lots of seating, dark wood, lots of old rock’n’roll poster, 80-90ties AOR playing. Big bar with about 12 taps, most classic Czech beers, but still 8 beers i havent had. Almost empty when we came around 12.00, but soon after filled up with people having a late brunch/early lunch. Beer quality a little mixed, some had clearly been on the taps for to long and suppered from it, others was good. Looks like it could be crowded later in the day, had a kindof party-ish feel to it. Good prices for the central placing. Would visit again.
Decent American themed bar. They had couple of good beers on tap like Matuška and Uneticke, rest of them not so interesting. Burgers were good. Beerwise there are (far) better places, but having a beer or two at this place wouldn’t be a disaster.
The good thing with this place is that it is in the center, really close to Vaclavske namesti. The have a good set of beers, but most of them are not rare, and the food is probably not the best - burgers, for example, are dissapointing which is strange for an american pub. But the stuff is really friendly and pretty.

Not that far from the Muzeum metrostation. I had lunch and a few beers here. 12 taps, dedicated to Czech microbrews. They had two Matuska and one Nomad as I visited. Rather crowded but still not very loud. Other taps are mostly beers from Lobkovice.
My first visit, late Saturday night, was a disaster. The pub was extremely crowded. I ordered a beer in the bar, waited for more than 5 minutes, felt a growing irritation and left. I felt like an old grumpy man and gave it a try next morning. Sunday morning 11 o’clock, I had the whole pub to myself... Great beers from Nomad, Matuska and Uneticke + 9 classic czech breweries. Nice modern pub layout, with an American theme. K Brewery Trade line-up with a couple of indie guest taps of very good quality. Much better beer place than you’d guess from the outside
